McGuires Mansion in Lake City

Charming three bedroom 1 bath w/in walking distance (3 blocks) to the BEACH and downtown. Very secluded location at end of a deadend street, with two acres and a large barn for your toys! PETS are welcome and we have a large outddoor kennel w/ attached dog house so when you need to leave Fido at home, he'll be safe and have room to roam. There is a huge fire pit, deck w/ gas grill, patio set, and fresh herbs right off the deck for your cooking enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked including a dish washer. There is a tv/dvd/vcr, high chair, and washer and dryer. Beautiful gardens ,and every room is themed  in lodge style, up north, or antiques. We are also located 3-4 blocks from  the staging area for one of the snowmobile trails that connects to Kalkaska, Traverse City, Grayling, Gaylord, etc.

1 queen, 1 double, set of bunk beds, and a full size pull out. Air conditioning, Dock/boat slip, linens provided, lots of parking, room for campers or tents at an extra charge, blender, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, microwave, toaster, tv w/ DTV, and others listed above.

The lake is 3 blocks away. Great beaches, a county park, kayak, jet ski,  and boat rentals all w/ in a mile or so. The Manistee river is 8 miles away where you can also rent canoes or kayaks. Lake city is a quaint little town where veryone knows most everyone and the shopping is great. Make sure you check out Woodstock for your upnorth decor, t-shirts, etc. New tennis courts, skateboard park, and basketball courts within walking distance! The trailhead for one of the best snowmobile trails around is 3-4 blocks away. Ice fishing 3 blocks away as well. Ask about shanty rentals if you don't have one.

Rates every month except July, are 100.00 Sun.- Thur. night, 125.00 Friday, Sat and Sun. nights and 500.00 per week. July rates are 650.00 per week. ( no partial weeks)There is a 100.00 cleaning /damage deposit - refundable after satisfactory inspection made after departure and a 50.00 per week per pet charge that is non-refundable. There is a 10.00 per night charge for pets on short stays. Short stays are also subject to a non refundable one time cleaning fee of $35.00. Deposit to hold your dates is 200.00 and will be refunded if canceled 2 weeks before scheduled arrival. After 2 weeks, we will take out 20.00 per day. No refunds with in 5 days of scheduled arrival.
