vacation rental description

Newly constructed "KEY WEST STYLE" waterfront heated pool home is 3500 sq ft. Only a 4 block walk to the Gulf of Mexico beaches. Pool is new.  It has 3 bedrooms plus a suite on the bottom floor that sleeps 4 adults and 2 kids seperated in two areas. 

Master is private and has its own walk-in closet. Open kitchen is great for entertaining and extra large dining room table. Bamboo floors and tropical colors. House has many decks with wonderful views. Big backyard is rare at the beach, but here you can play sports and have family fun in the yard.

The house has it own dock for fishing. Manettees and dolphins come often. Home has four TVs with playstations and dvd player. Pool side is a full sized outdoor kitchen. The bar and grill has a refridgerator and sink! Outside is a large enclosed shower. House is in new condition, beautifully decorated and well landscaped. Walking distance to our historic shopping district of cafe's, banks, post office and shops! Parking for 4 cars and a boat trailer.

Wireless internet, fully stocked kitchen, 2 balconies, 3 stories.  Please be aware that for liability reasons we do not use the hot tub.  Only the pool will be heated if you pay for the gas in the winter season. No garage access.

This home sleeps 10 adults and 2 children.

This place was great! The location was just perfect for relaxing, with the pool and the wonderful dock. It is about four long blocks to the beach but it is located close to a grocery store and tourist shops. The wild life was awesome, my kids got to see a manatee that swam right up to the dock and a bunch of different kinds of ocean fish. The house was very nice- the only downside was that the light over the outside bar did not work, which made it difficult to grill at night. We will be booking this house again!

A Great Getaway!

We had a great time at this property. It was easy to navigate to and it's close to many shops, stores, restaurants, and beaches. The house was spacious and quiet, and all eight of us had plenty of space without getting under each others feet. Upon arrival (on a 90+ degree day in June) everything was well stocked and ready for us, and the house was nice and cool. The views from the upper deck were spectacular and it's a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while enjoying the solitude. The interior of the property was pretty well kept up with minor wear and tear evident. Nothing that was bothersome. Bedrooms were were good sized, had TV's, and the room with twin beds was fully stocked with games and toys. My niece was in heaven! Beware that while it states that it sleeps twelve, the dishes, flatware and glassware presented a challenge. There was not nearly enough and we found ourselves doing dishes pretty regularly. Not fun when you're on vacation. Also, the outside kitchen and grill area is in desperate need of cleaning and updating. It was pretty dirty and we had to clean everything before we used it. The grill did not work well, and after attempting to cook out on the first night with not much success, we gave up for the rest of the stay and cooked inside. On the other hand, the pool was spectacular. We spent most of our time out there in the water and on the deck. It would have been nice to have more than two lounge chairs (one of which was broken). The lawn area was great and we were able to play ladderball, badmitton and bocce ball with plenty of room. Overall this was a great place and we had a really nice time despite the minor inconveniences.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway

Nice home, Well equipped

Nice house. Looks exactly like it does in the photos. Nice large, well equipped kitchen. Large dining space for big group. Nice patio, pool and view. The only negative things about this house were the ants in the kitchen, none of the windows had screens in them and the pool took 3 days to heat up. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The owner did come out himself to turn the heat on in the pool for us. He was very nice.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car
