Just a 15 minute drive to PCH in Malibu with it’s beaches, restaurants, and shopping, 25 minutes to Santa Monica, yet worlds away from the city.  You’d never know you were still in L.A. once you’re inside the gates of this rustic hilltop community.  Spectacular ocean and mountain views are visible from every major room of this 3,600 sq.ft. 4 bedroom /3 bath home, which comfortably sleeps 9. Enjoy breathtaking views with your morning coffee or a sunset dinner on either of the two balconies, then step right outside your front door to beautifully scenic and serene walking/hiking along a paved road, or venture out to mountain trails.  Plenty of outdoor space for kids to play. Take a short drive down to the beach, or stroll around the shops at the chic, new Malibu Lumber Yard, then dine in one of the restaurants in the adjacent Malibu Country Mart shopping area.  $800 nightly, and reduced rate weekly rentals available.  Email requests for more photos and details.

Formal living room and family room, with two wood burning fireplaces. Family room has a 42" screen FIOS cable tv, Blue Ray disc player. First floor has speakers throughout, including balcony; Internet access with WiFi accessible throughout the entire house.

2nd floor master suite has a king sized bed with panoramic ocean and mountain views, stand alone vintage style clawfoot tub, and french doors leading to balcony with amazing views morning and night. Inflatable mattress available for sleeping on the deck under the stars - kids (and adults) love it!

Additional upstairs bedroom has one full bed, other has two twins. Downstairs bedroom has one full sized bed, and there is a pull-out sofa in the family room that sleeps two.

Hiking; Biking; Beaches; newly renovated Malibu Pier; surfing, swimming, kayaking, fishing, walking along beach homes in the Malibu Colony (where the stars live); Malibu Country Mart and Lumber Yard (where the stars shop):  dining, shopping, galleries, movies;  20 minutes to Santa Monica, Venice, and Marina del Rey.

Nightly:  $800 - $1,000.

No prom groups or youth groups unless accompanied by adults over the age of 25.
