If you're looking for that secluded get away far from the noise and stresses of the city, Klamath Cabin is the place for you. It's hard to believe this lovely and quiet cabin in the middle of the woods is just a few minutes from the village, the lake and the famous local ski resorts. This lovely Big Bear Cabin is warm and inviting, the perfect place to shed your cares, get alone with that important someone or to relax after a day of skiing, boating, fishing, or just strolling through the Village window shopping.
If you have a large party, Klamath Cabin can easily manage that for you as well. With two king sized beds plus a single size bunk bed and a double size bunk bed, the cabin easily provides plenty space for a private staff planning session, getting together with some old school friends, or for a small church retreat.

The cabin itself is fully appointed in a traditional rustic motif beginning with shingled siding, a roomy wooden front porch and a large rear deck. Inside, the walls are knotty pine, and there are hardwood floors in the kitchen, breakfast nook, and laundry room. The living room and bedrooms all have carpeted floors to keep your feet warm and cozy at night.

Big Bear Mountain Biking : Forest service roads make for some of the best mountain biking anywhere. There is no end to the possibilities for mountain biking in Big Bear. Drive into the forest, park the car, unload the bike and take off uphill or go to the .If you want a less rugged experience, the Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair is open on weekends beginning in May. The chair lift takes you and your bike to the top of the mountain and you ride downhill back to the ski area or into the village. Another beautiful and easy public biking trial is the Alpine Pedal Path. A 3 ½-mile round trip path that runs along the north shore of Big Bear lake, this paved trail with gentle hills travels through meadows, over streams and then through Juniper and Jeffrey Pine forest. One of the best places in the valley from which to view the Lake, this path is highly recommended for bikers and walkers
Water Sports and Boating : Water Sports and Boating: Big Bear Lake has pontoon boating, power boating or sailing, sailboarding, windsurfing, water skiing or jet skiing. Kayaking and canoeing are also available. Several marines are located on the lakes 23 miles of shoreline, should you wish to rent boats and equipment. Marinas are open spring, summer and autumn. Located right on the lake, Meadow Park provides a swim beach area. There's also shaded picnic areas, barbecues, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, playground equipment, softball fields, and a sand volleyball court.
Ski: Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Resort are two of Southern California premier ski resorts. Downhill and Cross Country Skiing, Combined they offer 75 trails, 20 lifts, four high-speed chairs, and seven snowboard parks for all levels of skill. Lift tickets are interchangeable. Enjoy the view of the ski slopes from the hot tub after a long day skiing or snowboarding.
