On Golden Pond in Belgrade Lakes

A camp, but not a camp located on a dead end road in a beatufiul cove offering some of the most beautiful sunsets Maine has to offer.  It's just a short boat ride to the village General Store or Village Inn Restaurant or a 5 minute ride by car. No prickles, tree roots or pine needles to maneuver around, just soft green soothing grass.  This camp offers 3 wonderful bedrooms all with a view of the lake, a large kitchen and living room and 2 bathrooms (1 3/4 and 1 full).  Two bedrooms offer a queen size bed each and the other offers twin beds.  Occasioanlly a 2 bedroom guest house is available with a full kitchen/dining/living area.

12 X 16 deck just 8 ft from the water. Shallow sandy bottom where you can walk till you go over your head. Peaceful cove.  Wake to the sound of the loons while you lift yourself up on your elbows in your bed to view the peacful mirrorerd lake.  A boat dock is available and a mooring could be available upon request.  Certain weeks a 2 bedroom guest house with a full kitchen and bath is available for an additional rental fee.  Guest house offers one bedroom with twin beds and another room with 2 king beds.  A gas grill is available for your BBQing pleasure. Cable TV is offered.

So much to do.  You can fish, water ski, jet ski, kayak, sail, swim, boat, canoe, bike, hike or just kick back and never leave the camp, take an excursion around the lake on the Mail Boat.  You can rent motor boats, canoes, kayaks, water skis locally just around the corner.  Take a ride or a hike To Blueberry Hill for spectacular views.  If you are a golfer, Maine's #1 Golf course and the nation's 68th best is just 10 minutes away known as the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club with views overlooking the chain of 7 lakes that are  breaktaking. Belgrade Lakes is situated 30 minutes from either the state Capital of Augusta and the town of Waterville, the home of Colby College and the old Hathaway Shirt Factory.  Both towns offer plenty to do on a rainy day with lots of shops and restaurants. Plan a day trip to the LL Bean Flagship store  in Freeport which is open 24 hours a day and is surrounded by name brand outlets.
