We rate all of our condos based on four criteria in order to make it easier for vacationers to compare different condos in different buildings. The criteria are as follows: unit size and quality, views, proximity to activities and building quality and amenities.

Unit Size and Quality: *****(5 Stars).  This 1580 sq ft unit has been professionally decorated, and the owner has put a lot of thought and personal attention into this magnificent property.  This condo features two master suites that you can retreat to with king sized beds and private bathrooms.  The first master bedroom features a flatscreen TV and DVD player, entrance to private balcony, oversized tub, and separate shower to soak your tired muscles in after an active day.  The second master bedroom features a flatscreen TV, entrance to the larger balcony, and jetted tub with separate shower.  The guest bedroom has a queen sized bed with TV and entrance to the larger balcony.  Across the hall is the bathroom with oversized shower.  You will also find the washer and dryer for the unit in this bathroom.  When you enter the unit, you will notice the gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and wine cooler.  The kitchen is well-equipped with everthing you will need to cook a meal away from home.  The living room features a beautiful stone fireplace with gas logs, flatscreen TV above the fireplace, DVD player, CD player, and stereo system with speakers.  The couch pulls out into a sleeper sofa to sleep an additional two people.  The dining room table is set up to seat 6 people; however there is a leaf for the table in the closet and two additional chairs to seat up to 8 people.  There are 3 additional barstools in the kitchen.  When you stay in this condo, you will also enjoy the bathrobes exclusive to Lone Eagle guests to wear to the pool, hot tub, or steam room.  If you need to do some work away from home, you will enjoy free internet access.

Views **** (4 Stars) The many windows and the balcony will allow you to enjoy views of the ski slopes, trees, and mountain.   Lone Eagle has a partially covered balcony on the first floor if you want to watch the skiers come down to the base of River Run.

Proximity to Activities ***** (5 Stars) Ski down to the lift, which is approximately 50 yards away & ski right up to the building at the end of your day.  Ski lockers are just inside of the skier entrance at the back of the building.  Lone Eagle is also just a short 2-3 minute walk into the heart of village where you will find restaurants, shops, and ski/bike rental facilities.
Building Quality & Amenities Building *****(5 Stars) Lone Eagle is a 5 star Platinum-rated building.  It is one of only two buildings in Keystone that is truly ski-in/ski-out.  It was built in 2000 and features 58 condos in the entire building.  The small size of the building allows guests to quietly enjoy the many amenities that Lone Eagle has to offer.  Enjoy no hassle parking in the access controlled, heated parking garage under the building. If you are traveling with friends and family, you can gather in the lobby sitting areas and enjoy the fireplace or sit outside on the partially covered balcony and enjoy the mountain views.  There is also a year-round heated pool and 8-person hot tub that is used exclusively by Lone Eagle guests.  After a long day, you can enjoy the steam room and fitness facilities located on the 1st floor.  Oversized ski lockers are also located on the 1st floor to store all of your equipment.  

Keystone Summer Events:
1. Keystone has many summer festivals for you to enjoy that are located just steps from the condo. Some of them include the World Music Festival (June 27), Frontier Fair and July 4 celebration (July 4), Uncorked Wine Festival (July 11-12), Bluegrass and Beer Festival (August 1-2), and the Blues Festival and Art Show (August 22-23).
2. Weekly events for kids and adults like Kids Discovery Days (every Tuesday from June 23-August 11), Family Fun Night with bounce houses for the kids, a dance performance, and carnival games (every Wednesday from July 1- July 29), and The Ant and The Grasshopper Theatre Production at the amphitheater in River Run Village (every Friday from July 3-Aug 21).
3. Enjoy the following tours: Mine Tours, Historical Bus Tour, ATV tours, Four-wheel drive tours.
4. Take a scenic chair lift to the top of the mountain and enjoy a picnic.
5. Play miniature golf. It is just a short walk away or you can take the free Keystone shuttle.
6. Enjoy two championship golf courses.
7. Bike with the family on the bike trails or try downhill mountain biking.
8. Take a guided hike with a guide that will tell you about local animals, plants, wildlife, and history.
9. Other summer activities include boating, fly fishing, and rafting. These activities can be scheduled off the resort, but they are very close by.
