Sandee in Old Orchard Beach

Very nice, well kept, well decorated 3 b/r home in quiet family area, away from the hustle bustle, yet close enough to walk to "the action & amusements" at the boardwalk in Old Orchard.  This "roomy" 1st floor unit is the whole first floor of a large three family just 2 tenths of a mile to the beach.  It has a large bright living room, fully equipped kitchen, new refrigerator with ice maker, wireless internet access. Cable TV with NESN, large Webber BBQ grill, and patio set,  BED SETUP: Bedroom #1 has 1 Queen; Bedroom #2 has 1 Queen; Bedroom #3 has1 Queen.   There is a queen sleeper in the living room as well as two new Swedish cots (twin size) that can be used as needed throughout.   It will sleep 6  in beds, 10 with sleep sofa and cots. Bath has a shower/ tub combo and there is also a washer and dryer.  Parking for 2 cars in the driveway, as well as more on the street.  Home is located centrally to the beach on the south side of the pier and is only 2 tenths of a mile back from the beach, approx. 3-4 minute walk.   It’s about a 10 minute walk to the pier.  Pets allowed. If bringing a dog, extra $70 charge, (cheaper than a kennel).  All this for only $1400 a week

.   Old Orchard has amusements & gift shops.   From the beach, it’s about 5 miles to Funtown which is a theme park & water park; about 7 miles to the Aquaboggin, a water park; 5 miles to major supermarkets.  Another attraction is “bird watching”, especially at the Scarborough Marsh, which is about a 5-minute drive from Old Orchard & 10 minutes from Saco.  Others nearby are the Saco Heath, Kennebunk Plains, Two-Lights in Scarborough (in the off season) &, Biddeford Pool  to name a few.

 Saco & Old Orchard are half way between Kittery & Freeport for outlet shopping; 20 minutes to South Portland to a major mall and 20 minutes to Portland. We’re about 1-1/2 hours or so from the Boston area.  

Maine has a 7% lodging tax which is added onto the rate.
