Vacation Rental Description

Beautiful Bayfront Unit With Water Views from most rooms.  
Runaway Bay is a lovely vacation resort on beautiful grounds between  
the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay.  Our particular unit was  
recently totally renovated with new tile floors, new kitchen and  
baths and decorator furnished in current "beach chic".  There is a  
full bay view from most rooms and the water is just steps from the lanai. 
Ground floor unit with parking directly in front of door. 
    
 
We are conveniently located almost halfway between Sarasota and St.  
Petersburg (roughly 25 minutes to each).  The island of Anna maria  
is  
unique in having no high-rise buildings and offering an old Florida  
feel.  Yet, you can enjoy some of the areas best restaurants and  
tropical bars within walking distance of the condo. 
 
In addition, Runaway Bay has a beautiful, large heated swimming pool  
(the largest on the island), a tennis court, recreation room, sauna,  
exercise equipment, shuffleboard and a fishing pier.  And of course,  
a beautiful beach only steps away for early morning walks,  
afternoons of sun and surf and some of the most beautiful sunsets you'll ever  
see.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our condo offers a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath floor plan.  There is  
a  
king bed in the master bedroom and 2 twins in the other.  An  
inflatable queen air mattress is also available in the unit.  Fully  
furnished in an appealing beach theme, you will have everything you  
need for a most enjoyable stay.  We have cable TV (3 including 2  
small TV's in each bedroom), a DVD and CD player/AM,FM radio, a  
washer/dryer in the unit and a lovely lanai overlooking the bay.

Activities and Attractions

Runaway Bay is just across the street from a beautiful, sandy  
beach.   
The heated pool is the largest on the island with an "island feel"  
from the striped umbrellas and chairs.  Lighted tennis court,  
private  
fishing dock and exercise room.  Walk or take the trolley, which  
stops right in front of Runaway Bay, to the island's many  
restaurants.  Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Tampa are only short  
drives away.  We have compiled a list, which we will gladly furnish  
for you, of our favorite restaurants, watering holes, beaches and  
things to see and do in the area.

Vacation Rental Rates

$650 per week, $2200 per month May 1st to December 31st 
$1200 per week, $3600 per month January 1st to April 30 
Additional fees include registration ($25) and cleaning ($70) 
Lower rates available on long-term or annual rentals 
Tax at 10.5%
