Located on the north end of Topsail Island, North Topsail Beach is a barrier island with the Atlantic on one side and the Intra Coastal Waterway on the other. 

Our home has its' own beach on the ocean.  Since North Topsail is primarily residential, the beaches are seldom crowded. 

In the summer, our weather is usually about 10 degrees cooler than the mainland because of those off shore breezes. 

Since we are only a 2 minute drive to the bridge to the mainland, grocery and other shopping and restaurants are only about a 7 minute drive. 

The home was custom built by the owner in 2007.  It has been elegantly and tastefully furnished and outfitted.

The entire house has been professionally decorated and it is beautiful.

It is a duplex.  Each side has the exact same layout.  Only the furnishings are different.  There are 2 interior connections- one on the first floor and one on the second floor.

The first floor has 8 bedrooms with 6 baths, 2 laundry rooms and 2 outside showers w/change rooms. There are 4 queen size bedrooms with baths on this floor, two bedrooms with twin beds(converts to a couch)each with a TV/DVD,  and 2 bunk rooms that sleeps 12.

All the bathrooms have custom tile, white marble sinks and vanities, and exhaust fans.  4 of the bathrooms(2nd & 3rd floors) have custom glass shower doors.  All of the bathroom and bedroom doors are solid wood to cut down on noise transference.  There is a window in the penthouse suite shower from which you can watch the boats sail up the Intra Coastal Waterway.

North Shore Country Club is less than a 5 minute drive from the house.  This 4 star golf course is open to the public.

The town park with fishing, basketball, horseshoes, tennis (2 courts w/night lights), and enclosed children's playground  is an 3 minute walk from the house. 

Bring your bike or rent one and travel the separate bike path which passes in front of the house.

The Seaview, longest fishing pier on the East Coast, is a leisurely 20 minute down the beach or a 2 minute drive from the house.  You can rent fishing gear and buy bait.  They will cook your catch!  They have a great little restaurant. 

Good activity for one day-  get your group together for a walk down the beach.  Collect sea shells.  Stop at the Seaview for lunch or brunch.  Pay $1, and walk the pier to see how the fishermen are doing.  

Visit the very unique Turtle Hospital.  A big loggerhead deposited 100+ eggs on our private beach last year.

Go surfing. Our beach is a popular surf spot.

Bring your surfcaster (or rent one at the Seaview) and fish off our private beach for dinner.

Drive to Wilmington and tour several of  the beautiful plantation homes. Enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants on the river and then enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride.

Visit Grants Fish and see the pet alligator while buying fresh local shellfish or fish to bring home to cook.

At sunset, gather for drinks on our 3rd floor deck to watch magnificent sunsets over the Intra Coastal Waterway.

At night, sit out on the bench on the dune crossover and watch the moonbeam or see how many stars you can count.

Sit on the  beach, listen to the rhythmic sounds of the shore break, dig your toes in to the sand, and read that book you've been wanting to read.  Or, watch the precision formations of the pelicans overhead.  Or, take a nap!
