Features of Woodlands Chalet are two distinct living areas. One has the wood burning fireplace/stove. The upper living area is wide open to a beautiful year round view.  A full kitchen and secondary kitchenette in the lower level living space.  The chalet has an upper and lower deck.  The upper deck wraps around more than half of the chalet.  The meandering stairs to the entrance are lighted and offer a safe and beautiful decent to the front door. 

The chalet is spacious and you will most certainly enjoy the large indoor hydrotherapy bath tub where you can bathe with a massage by the hydro-jets or you can shower in this extra large tub.  The lower level full bath has a tub/shower combination as well. 

The furnishings were all chosen to provide the utmost in comfort and relaxation.  The two living areas have sofas and chairs positioned for conversation and TV viewing.  The master bedroom is located on the main floor and offers luxurious linens on the king bed.  The loft has twin beds with luxurious euro-style pillow top mattresses.  The lower bedroom also has luxurious linens on the king bed and a sliding door to the lower deck.  Wake up every day relaxed and ready for adventures in the Asheville area.

The 3 flat panel TV's have built in DVD players for viewing your favorite DVD's.  A telephone and answering machine is available for your personal local calls and your family/friends may leave messages for you while you are out on adventures.  (Please - no long distance calls from the house phone). 

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal including beautiful dishes, placemats and fine stainless steel flatware.  Seating for 6 at the dining table where everyone has a view.  The dining room is flanked on two sides by large "picture" windows and enjoying breakfast or lunch here is stunning.

Minimum Stay Requirements:

Two-night minimum:  Jan 5 through May 31 and November 1 through December 20(exception: Thanksgiving).

Three-night minimum: June 1 through October 31

Four-night minimum: Thanksgiving week beginning Wednesday through Sunday and Christmas week beginning December 21 through the New Year to January 4.

One-night may be booked if within two weeks of date required.  A rate of $270 for the night plus $400 deposit and fees & taxes as listed below.

$225 per night (2-3 nights)

$215 per night for 4-6 nights

$1,395 Weekly (7 nights) and any additional nights $190 beyond the first 7 nights rental.

$2500 Two Weeks (14 nights)

$4,500 Monthly (4 weeks)

Fees & Taxes: 

The cleaning fee is $125 per reservation.  A 2% processing fee will be assessed on the rent amount only, plus 11% taxes on the rent amount only.

Payment: 

We accept these credit cards:  American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover

50% of the rental fee and taxes plus 50% of the security deposit will be due at the time of reservation. See SECURITY DEPOSIT below. The balance of the rental fee, deposit and the $125 cleaning fee is due 28 days prior to check-in by credit card, personal check or money order. If sending a personal check, it must be received 35 days (5 weeks) prior to arrival date.

You are guaranteed a reservation when all paperwork is complete and the above fees are received and/or has cleared the bank.

If you are booking inside or less than the 28 day time frame, the entire rental fees, security deposit and cleaning fee must be paid. Credit card or overnight cashier’s check is the only form of payment in this time frame.

All reservations incur NC Sales Tax in addition to the rental amounts and any fees.

Security/Damage Deposit:

A security/damage deposit of $400 is required.  All security/damage deposits will be refunded within 1-7 days of departure provided the cabin is left in proper order and undamaged. Renters will be responsible for any damages or theft. See DAMAGES AND/OR THEFT in Policies and Requirements.
