Enjoy beautiful views from this lakefront home on the east side of Otsego Lake.  Feel the breeze from the large deck as you observe the activity on the lake and take in the spectacular sunsets.  85' of sandy beachfront includes a privacy lounging area with chaise lounges and a fire pit.  Outside deck features a large round picnic table which seats 10 and a cushioned seating area and natural gas grill.  Home features 2 bedrooms and a sleeping room.  Great for two families or one large family.  Bedrooms have queen beds while the sleeping room has a bunk bed (twin top, full bottom) and day bed with trundle.  Sleeps 9+ comfortably.  Great views of the lake from the living, sleeping and kitchen/dining area.  Dining area has large table with bench seating on one side and overlooks the lake.  Kitchen also overlooks the lake and has a breakfast bar for additional seating and atmosphere.

  • Winter (Dec-Mar) $1,200/week, $200 per night (2 night minimum)
  • Monthly Winter (Dec-Apr) $1,500 month + utilities

           Holiday weeks are an additional $150

           Holiday nights are an additional $50

Deposit of $250 due upon reservation with 50% due 60 days before check-in and remaining balance due 14 days before check-in

Check-in Saturday 3pm and Check-out Saturday 11am

Another awsome stay

Well our second stay at the house was as exceptional as the first! This time the wife and I left the rest of the family at home. Very nice and quite time. You cannot beat the sunsets, bon fires and stars at night. Took the short drive to Traverse City and did some wine tasting this time. Also went to Indian river to see the "BIG" cross. Very good half day trips. Ate at the Stampede Saloon just down the road, get the olive burger! And ordered a pizza from Al's Market, very good. Thanks again Greg and Liz for another wonderful "UP North" experience!

Recommended for: sight seeing, romantic getaway

Nice for family vacations

Our family spent a wonderful week on Otsego Lake and also did some sightseeing. Mackinac Island, Call of the Wild and other interesting things in and aroung Gaylord, Mi. The house was as descriped and more the owners were very easy to work with. We especially liked eating at Gobblers in Gaylord.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing

A beautiful place that's even more roomy inside that the pictures indicate. It is well maintained and very clean and features all the amenities that you need. Towels, bedding, kitchen accessories, etc. Inside the unit felt like home but outside the unit felt like paradise. The main level deck off the house overlooking the lake featured comfortable patio furniture and gas grill. Not to be outdone there is another deck on the beach featuring more leisure patio furniture and fire pit. The sandy beach, long dock, and large lake made for great boating, tubing, skiing, swimming, and castle making.

We had our pick of great golf resorts all within 10-20 miles and the availability of the Otsego State Park just a mile down the beach/road where family can stay and partake. Photo-shopped sunsets took place nearly every night.

The residence was quiet, safe, and "home for a week". There were no surprises and the Voorhis' were very organized, informational, and easy to work with. All transactions and information gathering was done up front and well in advance so no interference occured from either parties during our week long stay.

I strongly recommend this rental......book it!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway
