McGowen Cabin - Cozy Private Setting in Silver Lake

Cozy cabin 2 miles from Silver Lake.  Built in 2002, setting is in pine trees on private road, ample parking, nice outdoor area with big fire pit, gas grill and outdoor furniture. Quiet area close to all Silver Lake has to offer. 2.4 miles to Cedar Point Beach on Lake Mich for swimming. Sand Drags 1/2 mile away. We will be offering Wi-Fi this year!

Enclosed front porch with lots of windows and eating area. Full kitchen with microwave, coffee maker. Tv/VCR (no cable or internet) 1 bedroom with dbl bed, Loft with dbl bed and single cot, pull out dbl couch and double futon. 1 bath with shower. Sleeps 8 adults comfortably 11 max.

Items you need to bring: Linens(1-4 double sheet sets and one twin) towels, paper products, trash bags, videos for vcr as there is no antenna or cable service. Wifi hot spots around town.

 We rent Saturday to Saturday from June 15th thru August 15th. $650.00 weekly for up to 8 people, Cabin open mid May, we now require a $99.00 deposit, $49 will be used to purchase insurance that covers up to $1500 in damage (non- refundable) The balance of $50.00 will be returned to you if cabin is left cleaned, just as you found it. 6 % michigan use tax also applies.

30 day notice for cancellation or deposit will not be refunded. Clean before leaving, we will inspect and deposit will be mailed back within 1 week of stay if found satisfactory. Check with us for weekends during May, June and late August. A 4 night minimum stay is required at $135.00 per night for these off peak times. A 3 night is possible out of prime time but wiil be $150.00 per night.We expect full week rate during prime time. The cabin is managed locally.
