This is the perfect mountain getaway, located just 12 miles from downtown, Steamboat Springs.  Built in 2003, this 3,000 sq. ft. contemporary farm house is private and secluded.  Boasting fabulous views, this open and comfortable space is situated on 8 acres.  A 2.5 hour drive from Denver or approximately 40 minutes from the Yampa Valley Airport in Hayden - either way you'll be relaxing in no time.  Our house has a great flowing floorplan with heated concrete floors and New Zealand wool carpeting throughout.  The great room is the heart of this home - with 16' ceilings and a barrel roof; it offers a Rumsford masonary wood burning fireplace, surrounded with Iowa limestone.  Just the place to cozy up to and unwind.  Furnished with an Italian leather sectional and 2 Eames chairs, this room has a flat screen Sony tv with premium satelitte channels, dvd and Bose wave sound system.  The complete Viking gourmet kitchen, featuring 2 dishwashers and wine cooler, make this home an entertainer's paradise.  The separate, yet open, dining room, completes the main living space.  Step out onto the porch, with a wood burning outdoor fireplace and seating:  it's the perfect setting for sunset cocktails overlooking the alpenglow.  The master bedroom offers a king size duxianna bed with fine linens, down pillows, and comforters. The green glass tiled master bath has an oversized soaking tub, 2 vessel sinks and shower with 2 heads. There is a second master suite downstairs, with private subway tiled bath and sitting area. This bedroom offers a california king sized duxianna bed with beautiful linens, down pillows and comforters.  The remaining 2 bedrooms have twin beds with down pillows and comforters.  They share a private bath with 2 sinks, subway tiled shower and oversized soaking tub; in a private wainscotting tub room. There is an additional playroom, on the lower level, with satelitte tv; offering premium channels and wii.
