A Riverside Cottage in Oroville

The Riverside Cottage is a beautiful,  fully-furnished, two bedroom, two bath luxury vacation rental on the Feather River in Oroville, CA

It is perched on a rise above the river with easy, on property,  access to the river.  Guests are welcome to bring kayaks, canoes or inner-tubes and launch their river-borne adventures from our shoreline. Swim and fish from the property or explore the miles of open access to the river  in the  nearby parks including the Oroville Wildlife Area.

A wall of windows in the Great Room provides fantastic views. This room also has a fireplace and a wide screen TV on cable with a DVD.    

There are two Queen bedrooms each with a separate bath. In addition there is a queen hide-a-bed couch in front of the fireplace and a single hide-a-bed in the Music Room so, the Cottage has sleeping space for 7.   

It has central heating and air and high speed wireless DSL The cottage is self-catering: with modern kitchen and front-loading washer and dryer.  A redwood deck with an umbrella table and gas bar-b-que supports al-fresco dining.

The Great Room has a cathedral ceiling and a wall windows with a sliding glass door out to the lawn and river beyond.

The dining table in the Great Room provides and extraordinary dining experience with incredible views of the river.

Natural vignettes play out continuously just beyond the window and two wing-back chairs provide perfect perches for nature observers as well as wonderful natural light for readers.

A gas fire in a beautiful sandstone fireplace keeps the great room cozy and romantic in the evening or on rainy days.

A queen-size convertible sofa in front of the fireplace is your personal theatre for viewing the widescreen TV with cable and DVD

Two ceiling fans and the screened sliding glass door in the great room provide comfortable circulation and natural cooling during most of the year, central heating and air conditioning are also available.

 A glass door leads from the great room to the deck.

The kitchen is full of natural light with a large kitchen window to the woods.  It features all modern appliances including  a gas stove top and oven,  a microwave, a large fridge with a bottom roll-out freezer and ice-maker, a dishwasher and disposal.

It comes complete with cooking and serving  utensils including dishes, serving bowls, glasses, silverware pots and pans and table linen.

The kitchen has an open, spacious, flow-though design with copious well-lit counter space which includes a little pass-though breakfast counter that extends into the music room. 

Whatever brings you into the area, A Riverside Cottage provides a springboard to nature-based adventures in a serene relaxing environment that enables communication, reflection and creative processes.

The cost of the Cottage is generally: $300.00/ night, $500.00/weekend, $1000.00 for 5 day mid-week stay, $1200.00 for a full 7 day week and $3000.00. for a 28 day month.  Higher rates and 2 or three night minimum stays may be in effect for holidays and extended weekends.
