Sweet Cottages in the Woods in New Paltz

Rachel's Skytop Cottages are 90 Miles north of NYC between New Paltz and Kingston. There are three cottages on 10 acres with lots of open space and a large in-ground pool. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Lesbian owned and operated.

There are three 2-bedroom cottages.  The Eleanor Roosevelt has a double bed in one bedroom, a single bed in the other and a confortable sofa in the living room.  The Laura Nyro and the Sally Ride are both 2-bedroom cottages which have a double bed in each bedroom.  We also have a charming one-bedroom cottage, the Audre Lorde.  This one sleeps four with a double bed in the bedroom and a full-sized sofa bed in the living room.

The three 2-bedrooms have fully equipped kitchens and wireless Internet. Two have porches with views of the Shawangunk Ridge.

The one bedroom has a fully equipped kitchen, full bath with a tub, wireless Internet, cable TV and a DVD player.  This cottage has been rented full time for the next year.  It is not available for seasonal rental.

We have a large pool on the land, hiking trails and nearby access to horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, bird watching and biking. New Paltz and close by towns offer farmers markets, antique shops and fine restaurants. Hyde Park, Catskill Mountains, Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park and the Culinary Institute of America are all a short ride away. Lots to do or just sit with nature and relax and listen to the birds.

Rates depend on the number of people. Two night minimum.  $50 cleaning fee added to rentals of one week or more. Nominal pet fee, please inquire. Please, no smoking in the cottages.
