New Jungle Villa Pool Home w/ Guest Suite-Special in Manuel Antonio/Quepos

Casa Floratica is nestled in the rugged, mountainous terrain and canopy jungle of Manuel Antonio.  Enjoy the privacy and security that only a private, gated home in the jungle can provide.  Casa Floratica was built in 2006.  It has all the modern conveniences of your own personal home, with the addition of exquisite details, private in-ground pool, beautiful 8 foot tall teak wood doors, custom cabinetry, teak tongue and groove ceilings, covered parking, and concrete driveway.  The flora surrounding this home magically transforms as you make your way through the mountains and jungles to your private retreat. 

The main home consists of two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, with kitchen, living room and dining room.  It sleeps a maximum of five persons. There is an optional guest apartment on the second floor, with private bath, available to sleep two additional persons.    The views and sounds of the jungle are present from every room.  The lush tropical foliage surrounding Casa Floratica is spectacular, abounding with color and richness.  Enjoy fresh papayas, mangos, bananas and plantains right from the jungle.   Monkeys, butterflies, hummingbirds, sloughs, iguanas, and other wildlife are plentiful on the grounds. 

The owner has spared no expense in the decorating of this home.  The master bedroom has a luxurious hand carved, high quality mattress queen size bed, a/c, ceiling fan, and private en-suite full bathroom.  The second bedroom offers two twin beds, a double size Costa Rican Murphy bed, a/c, ceiling fan, and private en-suite full bathroom. Located off the second bedroom is a laundry area with a full size washer and dryer.

The kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare anything from a simple breakfast to a gourmet meal.  Poolside there is an outdoor gas grill for your grilling pleasure.   Two full service grocery stores are within walking distance of the home, providing you with easy access to groceries, meats, liquor, or anything you may need, along with a pharmacy and bank.

The living/dining room area boasts a large Natuzzi leather sectional, one-of-a kind hand carved tables, large 60” screen satellite TV, DVD player, and a 30 foot wall of sliding glass doors overlooking the pool and jungle.  It’s decorated with hand painted Cuban art throughout.  Of course the home is equipped with telephone and wireless internet so you can stay in touch as needed.  Full concierge service is also available for anything you could want or need while staying at Casa Floratica. 

The pool deck is spacious with a lounging area for sunbathing.  The canopy of the jungle and secluded area of this home provides sunbathing and swimming privacy.   Cool off in your private pool on those hot tropical days and nights.

The guest apartment sleeps an additional two persons, and here again no expense has been spared.  Looking out you’ll be captivated by the elevated views of the jungle and wildlife, combined with the art work from the streets of Havana, Cuba.  The master bedroom has a hand carved, king size bed with very high quality mattress.  The private en-suite bathroom is a masterpiece.  Bathe in the large, tiled soaking tub while looking out into the rainforest, or in the open concept shower.  A partial kitchen provides you with a fridge, microwave and sink.  There’s an office/indoor sitting area with large screen TV and DVD player.   A/C and ceiling fans are built in to keep you cool and comfortable.  Open the wall of sliding doors where you’ll be captivated by the elevated views of the rainforest in your outside living room.  Here you’ll find an elegant, custom made wood and slate pool table for your playing enjoyment, a large leather Natuzzi sectional and Tico leather rocking chairs for relaxing.

Tours, in-house meals, live music and all sorts of entertainment to meet any taste or life style can be arranged by our local concierge service, managed by Ron Neal.  Ron, now living nearby in the jungle, brings to your exposal and use his education from the University of Costa Rica in San Jose, enhanced by his Big Apple expertise as a provider of goods and services in the barrios of Manhattan, New York.  Our staff will also collect you from the International airport and return you on your day of departure, upon request, by shuttle.  Rental cars are available in Manuel Antonio, if you wish to get out and explore on your own, or you can move about very easily and inexpensively by local taxi, or flat cheap by bus.    The rich topographical variety in this area, coupled with a wealth of activities geared toward not only the adventure seeker but the casually curious make this a destination that offers something for everyone.  Casino’s, nightlife, surfing, jet ski rentals, SOSI Language School, and the new Pez Vela Marina are all within ten minutes drive of the house.

Casa Floratica is centrally located in Manuel Antonio and only three miles to Quepos.  A multitude of five star quality restaurants, spa’s, shops and art galleries are all within walking distance or a short drive away.  Manuel Antonio National Park is less than a five  minute drive from the house, along with the beaches of the Pacific Ocean, the great beach shops, sidewalk vendors and restaurants.  Rain forest canopy tours, world-class fishing charters, four wheel adventures, horseback riding tours and much, much more are all within five to ten minutes from the house. 

Off Season – May 1 – December 15 – $1100/week

Add guest suite –  $1550/week

Season  January 2 – April 30 - $1200/week

Add guest suite –  $1650/week

Holiday Rates –

Christmas, New Years and Easter Weeks - $2500 for entire home

To the above rates, add 13% tax, and a $500 refundable security deposit for the main home, and additional $250 refundable security deposit for the guest suite. 

We only do one week minimum rentals Saturday to Saturday in season and during holiday dates.  Off season arrival and departure dates are flexible to fit your travel schedule.  Last minute bookings can be as short as a 3 night stay.
