Cabin at the Lake in Grand Junction in South Haven

Comfortable Cabin on beautiful private Silver Lake in Grand Junction. Bring the kids for a week on the lake or enjoy a week of fishing with your buddies. A great relaxing get away with your friends or family.  All sports lake with fishing, swimming and boating of all kinds.

Just 12 miles to beautiful South Haven and Lake Michigan and I-196 exit 20. 5 miles from Gingermany raceway and walking distance from the Kal-Haven trail for biking, hiking and snowmobiling.

Walk to the Blueberry U-Pick fields and pick locally grown Blueberries! Close to South Haven, Saugatuck and Kalamazoo. Beautiful area for hiking the trail,  taking a walk around the lake and area and bike riding.

Our Cabin sits on a large yard with plenty of room for games and picnics and there's plenty of space for parking cars/trailer/boat. You can feel comfortable letting the kids play in the yard or ride bikes on the firelane that goes around the cabin and woods. If you are a Race team there is a nice large area for parking your trailer.

Cabin has 1 Queen bed, 1 set of bunk beds for 2 and the sofa folds to a single. There is plenty of space for air mattresses and sleeping bags.  No carpeting except an area rug in living room....nice for casual vacation living and allergy concerns. Very comfortable  space, not crowded.

T.V. and DVD player in living room. Local stations only, bring your own movies. No phone in cabin.
All kitchen amenities, just bring food.  Window A/C cools cabin and propane furnace warms for cool nights. Water is from a well and is good but some prefer bottled, we keep a full 3 gallon jug in the fridge.

Outdoor table, chairs, 2 lounge chairs you can take to the beach area. Gas Grill and Charcoal grill included. Bring your own charcoal. Firepit is off the patio with lots of wood stocked.

Cabin is just 300ft off the lake at the front of a quiet firelane. The lake access has lots of sand for the kids to play in, a dock and swimming area. Ok to bring a canoe. Very nice neighborhood and neighbors, quiet firelane, no nieghbors on either side or in the back, 2 wooded lots and one cleared lot so it's not a crowded site. Everyone in the area looks out for each other.

This cabin is perfect for families or fisherman or just a quiet relaxing getaway. Enjoy the lake and the quiet of the woods.  MUST be 25 to rent this cabin.

PETS: We love pets but we will consider them on a case by case basis prior to rental. If approved, $200 deposit required and refundable after inspection (will be mailed back within 7 days). Pets must be leashed at all times. There is a fenced pen attached to our shed that can be used. Dog friendly neighbhorhood as long as the pets are in control by the owner. They can swim in the lake as long as they do not bother other residents.

We live close by so easy to reach us.

October Rates: $69 per night, 2 nite minimum. DEAL: Pay for 3 nights and get the 4th FREE.

June: $89 per nite, 2 nite min

July 4th weekend: $125 per nite, 2 nite min

SPECIALS: July, August, September rates: $99 per night, 2 nite min.

August-Sept Deal: Pay for 4 nights and get the 5th night free!

Rate is for up to 4 adults, extra adults $10 per night per person. No extra charge for children under 18.

Weekly, 7 nites: $693 preferrable that you Check in Friday at 3pm, check out Friday at 11am. We will be flexible on ck-in & out days if availability permits.

Cashiers check or money order only for deposit by mail.

A cashiers check deposit of 50% of the full rental amount is due upon making the reservation. The 50% deposit is Non-refundable. If we can re-rent the cabin for your reserved time frame then we will refund your deposit. We will sincerely make every attempt to re-rent that time so you can have your deposit back!

A $200 secuity Deposit is required upon arrival. This deposit will be refunded after inspection of cabin. If there is no damage or theft or serious cleaning issues then the deposit will be mailed back to you within 7-10 days.
