Eagle Heights Cottage is a one-bedroom vacation rental located on Vashon Island in the Puget Sound.  We like to call it a B&V--for bed and vegetables--because we offer our guests fresh, pick-your-own vegetables, herbs, and fruit in season, grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.  Eagle Heights Cottage is located on the bus line and is easily accessible from Seattle, Tacoma, or the Kitsap Peninsula, with or without a car.

At first my trip to Vashon Island was to check out the island as a future place to stay while visting my grandchildren. It turned out my dear friend of many years joined me for a weekend getaway. The cottage was charming with a lovely vegetable garden (organic and pesticide free.) My grandchildren had fun exploring the front and back garden and checking out the chickens. We had everything we needed and the location was close to the ferry. The ferry was an adventure all by itself! The Hardware Restaurant served delicious food and my favorite was the quaint Vashon Bookstore. I would highly recommend the cottage for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

Delightful and Charming

This cottage is delightful and charming with all you need to be self-contained. It has a small view of the Sound and a beautiful view of the mountains and the sunrises are extraordinary. The gardens look like they would be wonderful in the spring and summer. The owner is very pleasant and amiable.

Wonderful Escape from Day to Day Life

This was a wonderful escape from day-to-day life. It has been just the medicine my wife has been yearning for and a week of lounging that I have needed for quite a while.
