Vacation Rental Description

The Hidden Cove Cottage is a spacious year round home with all the
modern amenities in a private and secluded cove on beautiful Long Pond
in the Belgrade Lakes Region of Central Maine.  The quaint village of
Belgrade Lakes with its excellent restaurants, antique and gift shops
is a perfect base from which you can experience the great swimming,
hiking, boating and other activities that the area has to offer.
Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, rated a top 5 public course in the country,
is only a 10 minute drive. You can boat directly into the village from
your own dock for morning coffee and the paper.

Enjoy spectacular views from the extensive wrap around deck or relax
in a hammock in the natural wooded setting among towering pines.  This
home is perfect for larger families or 2 families and offers
its own private waterfront with dock as well as access to a
shared sandy beach waterfront just a few minutes walk away.

Directions:
If flying in, the Portland Jetport is only 1 hour away.  Drive time
from Boston is 3 hours taking I95 north to Augusta exit 112b (Rte 27).
 Take rte 27 12 miles to Castle Island Road and make a left(across
from Lake and Country Real Estate). Stay on Castle Island Road and
make a right on Watson Pond Road.  Go 8 tenths of a mile and make a
right on Wildewood Estates.  Go another 8 tenths of a mile and home is
on left.  170 Wildewood Estates.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is fully furnished with modern appliances
and includes a large refrigerator, Jennaire electric stove,
dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, trashcompactor, coffee maker,
outdoor grill, etc. as well as all dishes and cooking utensils.  ALL
LINENS AND BEDDING ARE INCLUDED.  
BEDROOMS:
Master: 1 king, 1 twin
First floor: 2 twins
Second floor: 2 twins
Loft: 2 twins and a bunk(2 twins)

Cable television and a VCR are
located in the spacious sunken living room overlooking the lake. 
Phone service is available for local calls and
local internet access.  During the colder months, heat is provided
through baseboard and wood stove.

This property is located directly on the water where you can dock your
own boat, canoe, etc. just steps from the home.  Swimming is excellent
right from the dock and a swim platform is located in the cove.  A
shared common beach area is a few minutes walk away and a great
additional spot to relax and let the smaller kids play in the sand.

Activities and Attractions

Whether it's world class fishing for bass/pike/lake trout, hiking,
boating or golfing or just plain old relaxing, the Belgrade Lakes
region has it all. There are many miles of well-maintained trails
through the Kennebec Highlands(get a map downtown at Day's Store) and
local guides specializing in fishing trips.  Head down to Castle
Island Camps to get great local advice on the best fishing on Long
Pond.  World class rafting trips on the Kennebec, Dead and Penobscot
rivers are only 90 minutes away.  The famous LL Bean store and
Freeport outlet shopping is only a 45 minute drive from the lake.  The
Belgrade Community Center also offers fun summer activities for the kids.

Vacation Rental Rates

$1800 weekly from 3rd week of June thru Labor Day week
$1200 weekly from week after Labor Day thru 2nd week of June
$250 nitely off-season(3 nite minimum)
$1200 monthly off-season (includes heat/electric)

NOTE: AN ADDITIONAL 7% MAINE LODGING TAX WILL BE ADDED TO THE RENTAL FEE

Weekly schedule: Saturday to Saturday
Check in: 2-5pm(no earlier unless previously discussed)
Check out: 10am SHARP

ALL LINENS AND BEDDING ARE INCLUDED

Pets with permission. $200 pet deposit plus additional $100 weekly fee
required.  Pets must be leashed at all times while outdoors and you
must clean up messes.

To make and hold a reservation a deposit of 50% plus a $500 security
deposit is required. Deposit and security must be received within 7
days to hold your rental.  Remaining balance is due 60 days prior to
arrival.  Please remember- no dates are confirmed until deposit is
received.

Cancellation policy: All monies returned if cancellation occurs 60
days or more prior to your arrival.  If cancellation occurs within 60
days of arrival, all monies will be returned ONLY if I can re-rent
your week.

Attention fishermen, leaf peepers and snowmobilers: Off-season daily
rental may be available(2 night minimum). Please contact for rates
and availability.
