Papalomeh Calli
Magnificent Villa with 6 bedrooms in a building of over 7000 square feet. Built in 3 levels in a Cul de Sac in the Audiencia Bay, one of the most exclusive and astonishing places in the world.
Villa Papalomeh is on an ocean front overlooking its own private Cove with a natural sea water pool for snorkeling and diving,. Walk down the stairs through the exuberant tropical garden and jump into the ocean to see up close all the creatures living among the rocks that form the Cove, in a setting safe for your entire family: angel fish, periwinkles, sea urchins, sting rays, clams, lobsters, crabs, and bluefin tuna are some of the species very common in the Cove.
Then come back up the stairs to the 45 foot fresh water infinity swimming pool on the terrace where you can spend the afternoons watching the sunsets and the whales that come into the bay from time to time.
The Main Floor of Villa Papalomeh is at the street level so that elderly or challenged guests don't have to climb down stairs. It has a 430 square feet Master Bedroom with a magnificent bathroom and jacuzzi.
The second floor is the Magno Penthouse, down a short and comfortable flight of stairs. The Magno Penthouse has a massive 861 square feet Master Bedroom with a living room area, a Breakfast Corner and a second 430 square feet bedroom. The floor is perfect for honeymooners who wish to spend their time alone in a romantic and completely private environment. Everything is at hand so you don't have to move far to practice your favorite way of relaxing either by the pool or by swimming in the warm water of the bay.
The third floor at the pool level incorporates 2 full suites and an extra room, again placed to maximize privacy from each other and the rest of the house. The pool suites are complete with their own bathrooms and seating areas. The full glass windows along the entire front of the house provide a breathtaking view of the entire bay right below and a spectacular view of its grandiose sunsets from any room in the Villa. Yes, even from the showers and the jacuzzi!
The Villa is just a block away from Las Hadas. You can walk the romantic cobble stone streets to visit the resort and its world renown restaurants, its golf course, and its stores. It is five minutes away by car to the main boulevard of Manzanillo where you can find first class restaurants, night clubs, shopping centers, and anything you may want or need.

It is a very small and intimate beach a block away from the Villa. You can walk or swim along the bay. Weekdays is pretty much empty.
Swim or walk to Playa la Audiencia
It is within a walking distance from the villa. At the end of the cul de sac take the stairs down.
If you are adventurous you can also swim across the bay from the villa. The bay is quite safe. The beach has boat rides, banana rides, jet sky rides, all that sort of stuff...
Deep Sea Fishing
Manzanillo is known as the world's capital of sailfishing. Rent a boat that will take you out into the deep ocean for as long as you want. Even if you don't catch a sailfish, you will have a lot of fun.
Pueblos de Santiago and Salahua
Shops, restaurants. Fresh food market (meat and vegetables).
It is a five minute ride in a taxi from the villa, or a 30 minute walk.
I'd go for the taxi anytime. Is about 3 dollars each trip.
Playa de Santiago
This is a long beach, and the ocean waves are stronger. Perfect for riding the waves if you are into surfing.
Manzanillo Port
Very interesting site if you like the big boats and shipping containers.
About 20 minutes by car.
Downtown Manzanillo
Shops, the Municipal Palace (government offices), the downtown central square.
Downtown is where Mexicans shop: you will find a fresh food market (meat and vegetables). A Mexican Mercado Público is an experience you don't want to miss.
Bahia de Manzanillo
Long and full of restaurants of all levels, especially along the main Boulevard. If you or your kids are desperate you will find there a McDonalds and also a Starbucks.
Nevado de Colima
Live volcano. When is active, you can drive up the mountain and see it spewing lava. You will need a car, and it will take you a couple of hours to get there.
Day Trips
To Colima and Comala, which is a town renown for the spirits that roam its streets and for its wonderful ceramic art.
River and Lagoon trips
There is a River full of trees and birds and a water fall 100 feet high and a Lagoon full of exotic birds. Did you know that México has over a thousand bird species and most of them live around here? So don't forget your binaculars.
