I stayed at one of the Casa Rosadas cabinas for about 6 weeks, and enjoyed my stay greatly. Playa Guiones is experiencing a bit of a mini-development boom; it’s still far from condensed, but some areas can be very busy and almost crowded and noisy. Casa Rosadas has an ideal location for this area, sort of set off from the main area and offering a bit of nice privacy and tranquility. The property is filled with lots of tropical plants, and there is the feeling of almost living in a jungle setting. Yet the location is very convenient to the more central areas, a 2-minute walk to the super-mini-mercado, very close to some nice restaurants that often have nice live music events, and a 5- or 10-minute walk to the surf. The cabinas are basic and cozy and nicely set up with kitchen appliances. Highly recommended.
