Cottage on the Sassafras in Chestertown

Waterfront Living -  Our cottage is located about 15 miles north of Chestertown, between the small towns of Kennedyville and Galena in the small vacation community of Kentmore Park.   It is  a 2 Bedroom 1 bathroom cottage on the Sassafras River.  We have our own private sandy beach just steps from the front door.  Wrap around screened in front/side porch. Watch spectacular sunsets while you have your evening cocktail. Anchor your boat right in front of the house. 

2 bedrooms with full beds.  1 full bath.  Pull out twin sofas in the living room provide extra sleeping.  Fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, double oven/range, coffee pot and microwave.  Air conditioning units in the front and rear of the house along with ceiling fans keep the house cool.  You provide your own bed and kitchen linens. 

The property also has a bathhouse with an outdoor shower, equiped with hot and cold water and electricity. This is a handy place to store all of your beach gear.

If you have a pet and would like to bring him along on your vacation please inquire about our pet policies.  Additional security deposit applies. 

Watch great blue herons and Bald eagles as they soar overhead. Watch magnificiant yachts as they go out to the bay.  Have your own private  sandy beach to swim, fish, crab and sail from. 

We rent from Sunday to Saturday.  House is available from 8:00 am on Sunday and you must leave by 3:00 pm on Saturday. Please check the calendar for available dates.   We rent full weeks only - no weekends or partial weeks.

50% deposit required if booking more than a month in advance
Full payment required if booking less than a month in advance. 

All rental fees including security deposit must be paid in full 30 days prior to your rental.

• May - June 15th - $850.00/week
• June 15th - September 30 - $900.00/week
• October - $850.00/week
• 2 or more weeks Booked at the same time - $850.00/week

$150.00 refundable security deposit.  Refunded after you leave, by mail,  provided no damage has occurred during your visit. If you charge long distance phone calls to my phone, the charges will be deducted from the security deposit refund.   Additional security deposit required if you bring your pet.
