Sand Lake Rentals in Sturgis

Our Property actually has four cottages on the beautiful, 103 Acre, All Sport,
Sand Lake in the heart of Amish country, Nottowa. The description above is the
year-round home which is set slightly back from the lake's edge and shares the common areas with the cottages. Each cottage is tastefully decorated and fully furnished with comfort and cleanliness a priority. We are currently open for weekly rentals Sat to Sat May through October but would like to rent for the month or the season in the future at a discounted rate.

We provide at no extra charge: propane and/or charcoal grills, outdoor deep fryer, three two-person kayaks, two pedalboats, sunfish sailboat, four row fishing boats and a canoe. There is a horseshoe pit, shuffleboard deck, bonfire area, picnic tables as well as outdoor tables and chairs. The favorite for many of our guests are the hammock and chair swings. A short walk down the street is a party store/gas station/Hudsonville hand-dipped ice cream parlor. If requested we offer pontoon boat rides or you may bring your own motorized water toy, as we have three docks to moor against or fish from. The public beach/boat launch is a short way from our docks.

With-in a five mile radius there are three golf  courses, fabulous Amish bakeries and farm stands for fresh fruits and veggies and cheeses. The St Joseph County Grange fair ground has weekly events all summer and Antique Bazaar once a month.The main event is September 20-26. If shopping's your game, Shipshewanna is the name, 30 minutes drive away to the south and 30 minutes north is Kalamazoo. Check out the longest covered bridge in Michigan in Centreville, our county seat and the Colon Magic Festival August 5-8. The annual Sand Lake/Lake Templene fireworks display is not to be missed this year it's scheduled September 5 and launched from a barge right on our waters.
