Campfire Cabin on Long Pond in Belgrade Lakes

Come enjoy our quaint, cozy cabin  about 100 feet from the edge of "Long Pond", voted one of Maine's best lakes, and by far the cleanest and quietest lake in the "Belgrade Lakes Region."

The Campfire Cabin, part of East Shore Estates, has all one
needs to experience Maine--the way it should be.

The Cabin is nestled  on 2+ acres in a private waterfront community overlooking one of Maine's best fishing and swimming lakes.  Less than a 10 minute walk to the lovely town of Belgrade Lakes, and 1/2 mile from one of Golf Digest's top 5 public courses in the US.

East Shore Cottages, a PRIVATE waterfront community w/ 7 individually
owned cabins is located on 2 + acres. The property includes a b-ball
court, new large sun bathing deck on waters edge, boat dock,  and a small sandy beach. This is a great waterfront for kids...... sandy and shallow.

Long Pond has 12 miles of clear & clean lake water, surrounded by scenic
Maine!!  Whether you are a boater, swimmer, hiker or fisherman -- it
attracts people from all around the country.

Check in/check out peak season: Sat-Sat schedule. You can check in
anytime after 2 pm on Saturday, and checkout is the following Saturday
at 10 am Sharp!

Directions: Driving? We are Only 3 hours north of Boston on I-95,
13 miles from Augusta and Waterville (Colby College).
Flying? Portland International is only an hour from Augusta --
follow directions above from Augusta. Augusta airport is small--but
is 15 minutes from cabin.

Pets: Pets welcomed!! We allow certain pets with the understanding
that they will abide by leash laws when outdoors and they are not loud
(when you leave them alone) and you always pick up after them.

• Cabin comes w/ boat mooring (can rent a motor boat from Castle Island 
    Camps)
• Linens and towel rentals available -please let me know so I can tell my
    housekeeper.

    Cabin perched on a grassy hill and overlooks the lake (100 feet from
waters edge). The "Great Lawn", shared by all the neighbors, is where
neighbors often gather around the "communal" fire pit in the middle
of lawn, and exchange laughs. The b-ball court is great for the
children of all ages!

You can rent a canoe or kayak (up stream) and tour through the chain of 7
lakes, or cast your line and catch prize winning fish like the Belgrade Bass, Landlocked Salmon, Northern Pike, Perch, Crappie, or Pickerel!! Remember--the start of the "official season" is May 1, and goes through late fall.

 GOLF???   The nationally aclaimed Belgrade Lakes 18 hole public course is  
 rated top 5 in the US, by Gold Digest!

The Wings Hill Inn B&B -Charming 200 year old farm house
that has only 5 tables, two seatings nightly (Thursday-Sat only &
byob).
The Village Inn --waterside dining & their famous "duck entree" make

Sunset Grill-- home cooking at it's best. Great for breakfast, lunch
and dinner. Kid friendly, golfer's haven. RT. 27-at the start of
town. Live music & Karaoke on weekends.
Day's Country Store: Days has it all, groceries, pizza & subs, movie

Lazy Lab:  Light casual fare..Internet Cafe..coffee/tea/lunch/pastries, etc.
Belgrade Lakes Golf Course Snack Bar: 1/2 mile away is the scenic Belgrade Lakes Public Golf course w/ snack bar....beer/wine/ lunch/nibbles...VIEW!!!!!

Boats and Fishing needs:
Castle Island Camps-- For all boat and fishing needs -- located on
Long Pond. Will deliver motor boats to your dock. You can also pick
up boat, tackle, will pack fish up on ice, and register"nonresident"
fishing license. Call in advance to reserve!!  Long Pond Boat Launch: Just past "Castle Island Camps".

Belgrade Lakes is famous for more than fishing and golfing. Try
white water rafting, wilderness tours, hiking 4 different mountain 
trails, hunting, shopping, antiquing, Rec Center with activities for
kids & adults, and lots more.........

WEEKLY RATES for 2010 (Sat -Sat schedule):

MAY 15th - JUNE 19th:   $650

JUNE 19th - SEPTEMBER 4th:   $850 

SEPT 4th - OCTOBER  9th: $650  Great for "Leaf-Peepers"

All weeks will be subject to a $100 "returnable security deposit"
and .07% Maine sales tax.

This cabin is GREAT for a couple or a small family (4-5 people
downstairs and small sleeping loft w/ cot up in loft)
who want to enjoy the rustic beauty of Maine.

TO Reserve:  50 % of balance plus $100 "returnable
security" deposit within 7 days.  Then 60 days before you arrive--
balance due in full.

Cancellation Policy: If the "renters" should decide to cancel less than 60
days prior to their arrival, monies returned ONLY  if I can re-rent.
If "renters" should cancel PRIOR to the 60 days till their arrival, all
monies will be returned.
