The 1952 log cabin was recently restored to its original charm; it is warm and cozy with Island-grown Douglas Fir millwork and all the comforts of home. The full kitchen and bar forms the center of the living area so you never lose sight of the view out the corner picture windows. A covered deck runs along the water side of the house, so you can enjoy breezes and fresh salt air even on Vashon’s rainy days. 3/4 bath and full laundry room add convenience to a short or long stay.
Don’t worry about missing anything by sleeping in; you can still enjoy the view from the cozy queen-sized bed.
The Log Cabin sleeps 2 adults (hideaway bed available for extra sleeping capacity).

Located on the southernmost tip of Vashon Island, the Log Cabin at the "End of the World" has a phenomenal 180°view of Puget Sound, including Commencement Bay, the Port of Tacoma, and Mt. Rainier. From glorious sunrise to spectacular sunset, there is always something to see. Whether you are on the deck, lounging on the patio, preparing your next meal in the kitchen, laying in bed or out in the hammock, or hanging out down on the beach, you will enjoy the sunny southern exposure, deer, the eagles swooping overhead, seals, Orcas and other whales (when they happen to be in town), sailboats and the pleasure cruisers passing by, and the solitude of a quiet park-like setting.
The adventurous fisherman may also be rewarded with geoduck, crab, and salmon (in season).
A wonderful spot from which to explore Vashon Island or to tune out the rest of the world.

Summer Rates start May 1 (call or email for rates through April)
- Nightly rates are $200 per night for multiple nights; $175 per night for weekly+ stays; $225 per night for a solo night (no advance reservations for solo night, subject to availability)
- Weekly rate: $1,225
- Monthly rate: $3,750
Cleaning fee of $50 per stay (not per night); Cleaning fee for monthly stay of $40 per week.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made MORE than 30 days before arrival date = Full Refund of Deposit
Cancellations made 30 days or LESS before arrival date = NO Refund of Deposit unless unit is actually rented for the days that were cancelled*
*For cancellations made 30 days or LESS before arrival date and unit is then rented, deposit will be refunded less a $100 cancellation fee for stays < 1 week or $200 for stays > week
