Villa Napa: An Enchanting Tuscan Retreat on a Private Estate in Napa

Villa Napa is an enchanting 3-bedroom, 3-bath Italian-style rental on 4-1/2 serene acres of a private estate, just 7 minutes east of downtown Napa near the Silverado Trail (one of two main thoroughfares of the Napa Valley). Talented artisans contributed to the design and execution of the owners' vision, inspired by their travels to Italy.  The property is close to wineries, world-class restaurants, golf courses and modern conveniences, yet its rural setting and country Italian ambiance will undoubtedly transport you away from every day life.  The 1-bedroom, 1-bath Birdhouse Cabin, with its original 1920's details and charming décor, is also on the property and rents separately.  Guests of the Villa have described it with words such as “paradise” and “magical.”  The Villa sleeps 6 and the Cabin sleeps 2.  Each bedroom includes or is adjacent to a full bathroom for individual privacy.

The property in covered with mature oak trees, is adjacent to vineyards. Deer, wild turkey, rabbits and other wildlife are part of the landscape.  A large private swimming pool sits behind the main house and looks out to the scenic east hills and the luscious grounds.  (The deep blue plaster gives it the rich color.) Various fruit trees and bushes (wild blackberries, apples, Meyer lemons, peaches) provide year-round treats.

Inside there are spacious living areas and Old-world décor: rich fabrics, rustic finishes, textured walls and subdued lighting.  The living room has a gas-starter fireplace. For outdoor cooks there is a propane gas grill.  The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a grand feast that you can enjoy outdoors sitting on cast iron swivel rockers under a sun umbrella. Alternatively, you may sit indoor at the hand-made, imported 9 ft table.  In either case, you will be able to view the neighboring vineyard.

Retire at night into one of the 3 bedrooms all with lush bedding including down comforters.  The Master Bedroom has a king bed, its own bathroom with a tub/shower and double sink vanity.  The second bedroom with a queen bed overlooks the courtyard and has a bathroom with shower next to it.  The third bedroom with two twin beds (that can be prepared as a king) and its adjacent bathroom are filled with windows overlooking the grounds.

Modern conveniences include air conditioning, wireless internet (free), a flat-screen TV (with DVD player and surround sound), a double oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a trash compactor and hairdryers in each bathroom.

If further accommodations are needed, the Birdhouse Cabin, with its original 1920s details and charming décor is available. Prices provided are for the Villa only, so please inquire if you are interest in both the Villa and Cabin or just the Cabin alone.

Rental periods are 30 days or more, though renters may arrange to arrive and depart any time within that period.  Maximum price is up to $15,000 per month.  Rates subject to change without notice until confirmation of reservation.

Additional $200 per week cleaning fee added to total.  $1000 refundable security deposit required.
