Ocean View Cove House and Cottage Near Acadia National Park in Acadia

Luxury Home with Spectacular Ocean Views in quiet wooded setting. A luxurious newly built getaway on 2 wooded acres shared with garage apartment, which can be rented with house for large parties. or separately. The garage apartment is separate from the house and located about 70 feet away from the house. Situated a short distance from the ocean, with wonderful water views. Eagles, fox, deer, giant heron and other wildlife are often sighted on the property and nearby protected marshland. Explore the shore via a walking right of way to the ocean.  Short distance to Acadia National Park and other island attractions.

House sleeps up to 10 and Cottage sleeps up to 6. House has 3 bedrooms and Cottage has 2 bedrooms.

Both the house and apartment are charmingly and comfortably furnished.  They are fully equipped and all linens are provided.  Kitchens have dishwashers, microwaves, full size stoves, granite countertops and are very well equipped.

House has 3 bedrooms upstairs, 2 of which have queen size memory foam beds and decks overlooking the ocean.  Master bath has marble tile and a glass shower stall along with a 6 foot jacuzzi style tub.  Bath has ocean views.  There is a second full bath on the second floor with a tub'shower.  The third bedroom has twin beds. There is also a washer/dryer on the second floor.

Downstairs in the house, there are 2 bedrooms- one with a queen bed and one with a twin bed with a trundle bed. Both bedrooms have ocean views.  There is a bathroom downstairs with a jacuzzi style tub/shower.

The dining room in the house seats 10. There is a lliving room with a gas fireplace and a TV room with a large flat screen TV and Blu-ray DVD player. Wireless internet available.

Outside, there is a patio, lawn furniture and table and a charcoal grill.

The Cottage is located above the garage and has 2 floors.  On the first floor there is a large deck with table and chairs that overlooks the water.  Inside there is a living/dining area, kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower and washer/dryer and bedroom with queensize memory foam bed.  Upstairs there is a master bedroom with queensize Select Comfort bed and with a master bath.  The bath has a jacuzzi style tub/shower. There is also a loft sitting room on the second floor with a queen size pullout couch.  There is a small deck with furniture off the loft. Flat screen TV with DVD and wireless internet provided.

The property is located close to Acadia National Park and a few minutes from the village of Southwest Harbor.  Outdoor activities of all sorts are readily available from hiking or biking the trails of the Park over mountains, around lakes or along the shoreline to kayaking, sailing, fishing, swimming or whale watching. The local towns have lovely shops to browse, deliciously inviting restaurants to tempt your palate, craft shows, art shows, summer theater, and museums to visit. If you just want to relax in the calm and quiet of nature, you can just sit on your deck and admire the view of ocean and forest covered islands that unfolds before you or stroll down to the shore and explore the unspoiled shore. 

Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday for a 1 week minimum. 

 Rates in Cove House in September and  October are $2200/week for 8 people and $140/week additional charge for each additional person to a maximum of 10 people. 

Rates in Cove Cottage for 4 people in September and October are $1100/week and $140/week additional charge for each additional person to a maximum of 6 people.

There is a 7% state tax and a $400 security deposit for Cove House and $200 for Cove Cottage.  The security deposit is refunded the week after departure if all is left as found.

In the event of cancellation, payment is refunded, minus any expenses,  if we are able to rerent for the entire period.
