Banner Elk area mountain home located high in the Appalachian Mountains at 3,800 foot elevation with beautiful long-range mountain view. Cool summer temperatures, gorgeous fall colors and winter sports including 4 ski areas within easy distance. Three bedroom, two bath home is located on a private drive in a quiet rural area. Home is completely furnished, sleeping six comfortably on 2 queen size beds and 2 bunk beds. Wi-fi internet access, Satellite TV, DVDs and games and puzzles are available to entertain adults and children. 2-person Sauna, Massage Recliner, Foosball and campfire pit add to the fun. Deck with barbecue grill looks out on an ever-changing view of the valley below and the mountains in the distance. Come and relax in our comfortable, peaceful mountain home!

Massaging recliner and Foosball table. Gas barbecue grill, 2-Person Sauna and campfire area. Hummingbirds at feeder (in summer). Wildflowers everywhere! Hike to the top of Tom's Knob, or fish for trout in Laurel Creek just down from the bottom of the driveway. Direct TV satellite dish with 32 inch  flat screen TV. DVD player, and a selection of DVD movies. Second TV set and DVD player in 3rd bedroom (for video games and DVD's only).

Tweetsie Railroad Theme Park between Boone and Blowing Rock is open on weekends in the spring and fall and every day in the summer. We have fishing in local creeks and rivers, in Watauga Lake, and at Grandfather Trout Farm in Foscoe between Boone and Banner Elk where they will clean and smoke your rainbow trout immediately after you catch them. In the winter, there's skiing, sledding and ice skating at the local ski mountains. Lees-McRae College is a scenic 10 mile drive; Appalachian State 15 miles. In the home, we have a collection of DVDs, puzzles, board games and children's books. There is a 20" TV with front hook-ups for video games in the bunk bed room. There is also a second DVD player in that room.

• $125-130 per night, $250 per weekend, $675 per week, $1995 per month.  Minimum 2 weekend nights or 3 weekday nights.  Pet Fee $10/night $50/week.  Plus 7.75% tax and $50 cleaning fee.
• Holiday Rates: The following rates apply October 5-28 (Leaf Season), November 21-25 (Thanksgiving), December 21 - January 5 (Christmas) and the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Martin Luther King and Presidents Day weekends: Daily rate $135, weekly rate $750. Plus 7.75% tax and $50 cleaning fee.
