New detached traditional Basque-style house overlooking the village of Etxalar, a well-preserved picturesque typical Basque village. Set in 12,000m2 of land with a vegetable garden.
Downstairs: open-plan living area, and kitchen with all mod cons. Toilet. Very cosy open fire for those winter months.
Upstairs: 3 double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom. Both bathrooms have baths. Several terraces and balconies.

The house is very private, yet only a 5 minute walk down to the village of Etxalar, where you can do your shopping, have a coffee or a cold beer in the square, or a delicious meal in one of the restaurants. There are lovely walks round the village and a swimming pool.
My sister lives near the house, and is available to help you out with anything you need, for example: excursion planning, child care, and food shopping.

The house is located in the Pyrenees mountains, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Ideal for walking, riding, skiing, rafting, canoeing etc., to name but a few of the activities available.
20km from the coast and very fine beaches. Perfect for watersports: surfing, diving, sailing, fishing, windsurfing etc. Safe, clean beaches perfect for young children and sunbathing!
There are many charming and fascinating towns and villages in the area including San Sebastian (one of the most beautiful cities in Spain), Pamplona (famous for its bull runs), and Hondarribia. Biarritz, St Jean de Luz, and Hendaye in France.
Very near the French border (5 miles) and TGV train station in Hendaye, with Eurostar connection in Paris.
21 miles from Biarritz International Airport, with daily flights from London Stansted Airport.
