Built in 2006, this 3 bedroom 2 bath log cabin is situated on a beautiful wooded lot offering the comforts of home. 

When you enter this home, feel your everyday stress and worries melt away as you are greeted by an open living room with cathedral ceiling and open beam construction.  A stone fireplace offers warm comfort on a chilly day or sets the mood for a romantic evening.  Wood walls and flooring throughout and tasteful lodge-style décor embraces you with an inviting mountain atmosphere.

The roomy kitchen is well-equipped with cooking and diningware needed to prepare meals for your group.  The dining area seats 6 comfortably in addition to a breakfast bar with seating for 2.

The main floor houses 2 bedrooms.  The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed, dresser, TV and large closet.  The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, dresser, TV and another large closet.  A full bathroom is located on the 1st floor, as well as a stack washer/dryer.

An open stairway leads to the loft where, for indoor fun, the kids can enjoy a game of air hockey or pool.  A spacious upstairs bedroom features 2 queen-sized beds, a sitting area, TV, dresser and a full bath.

Wireless internet access is available for your convenience.

Included in your stay is the use of the Rumbling Bald Resort Facilities located just under a mile from the house.  Resort amenities include:

The Lake Lure area provides many recreational opportunities, from world class golf, incredible fishing and hunting, hiking, rafting and canoeing and pleasure cruises on the lake to area restaurants and parks.  Nearby you will find many attractions--the Biltmore Estate is the largest mansion in America and; Chimney Rock Park has one of the greatest waterfalls in the world.

Lake Lure is a well-known destination for thousands of visitors each year from around this country, Canada, and abroad.   Located in western North Carolina, the town sits in the heart of Hickory Nut Gorge, east of Asheville. The Rocky Broad River winds its way through a series of rapids down through Hickory Nut Gorge, and the crystal clear water flows through the valley that feeds Lake Lure. The Town of Lake Lure encompasses 13.25 square miles including the lake with a large central body of deep water, three long bays, an island of seven acres and many small bays and inlets with a background of forest clad hills and mountains. The climate is unusually temperate as Lake Lure lies in the “thermal belt” of the western North Carolina mountains and foothills.
