Come enjoy our wonderful vacation home, Wapiti Lodge, in Breckenridge.  As renters ourselves for many years and as owners who enjoy staying at Wapiti Lodge as much as we can, we have furnished, equipped and "amenitized" our home with YOUR stay in mind AND we will have an all new kitchen for Ski 2010-2011.  Wapiti Lodge is 4000 square feet with 8 bedrooms (4 are master suites), 6 bathrooms, a great room, a family room and a game room with a pool/ping-pong table.  It sleeps up to 19 and has plenty of room inside and out.  Wapiti Lodge offers  ideal accommodations for grandparents, parents and grandchildren or several families wanting to share a vacation.  Relax in the hot tub after a hard day of skiing.  Curl up with a book by a warm fire.  Challenge a friend to a game of pool.  Tackle a 1000 piece puzzle.  Sit on the swing in the backyard and listen to the Blue River run by.  Watch one of your favorite old movies on the 47 inch HDTV.  Have fun cooking a meal for friends and family in a kitchen that truly has everything you need.  And THEN there is Breckenridge with all it has to offer.  At Wapiti Lodge you are a short walk to town and the Free Shuttle bus stop is one door up.

Wapiti Lodge has a great room with a wood burning fireplace (wood provided), a family room with a 47 inch HDTV (with expanded channels) and a DVD player as well as a game room with a pool/ping-pong table.  All master suites have their own TV/DVD.  The fully equipped kitchen is large and open to the dining room.  The dining room has two tables that can be arranged for your group's needs.  Twelve chairs are around the tables and there are 6 padded folding chairs which are available if needed.  The dining room has a bar/console so you can set up for cocktails out of the way of the cooks.  The kitchen counter bar has seating for four.   The house has several child friendly amenities, including two pac-n-plays,  a booster seat, and a child's table and chairs.  The back yard has a jungle gym/ swing set.  There is a nice deck off the dining room with furniture and a gas grill.  There is a small deck with the hot tub off the family room.

There is a skier's/fisherman's room with its own outdoor entrance.  This room offers plenty of storage for outdoor gear - ski equipement, etc.  16 boot and glove dryers are available in the winter.

The pantry/utility room has a large capacity washer and dryer (new in 2007), laundry sink and plenty of storage room.  The house has two 75 gallon hot water heaters.  The kitchen was totally redone in December 2010 with all new appliances, counter tops and cabinets.The kitchen has two ovens, a five burner GE Monogram gas cooktop,2  microwaves, dishwasher and a Sub Zero refrigerator.  There is a second refrigerator in the game room.  The kitchen sets the standard for "well-equipped" with a large selection of pots and pans, all the small appliances you would expect and then some, sharp, quality knives and of course, more than enough dishes, glasses and serving pieces.

Bedrooms:

Master #1: King bed, private bath and private balcony, TV/DVD (2), Master #2: Queen bed, private bath and private balcony, TV/DVD (2), Master #3: Queen bed and private bath, TV/DVD (2), Master #4: Queen bed and private bath, TV/DVD (2), Bedroom #5 has a full/twin bunk (3), Bedroom #6 has two twin beds (2), Bedroom #7 has a bunk bed and ensuite sink(2), Bedroom #8 has two bunk beds.  Bedrooms 5 and 6 share a hall bathroom and Bedrooms 7 and 8 share a downstairs bathroom.  All bedrooms have down comforters and high quality humidifiers as well as extra pillows and blankets.

Linens and towels are provided.  Hand soap, bath soap, toilet paper and kleenex are provided.  Kitchen provisions include a new sponge, paper towels, dishwasher and dishwashing soap, coffee filters, salt and pepper and many spices and herbs.  Laundry detergent is also provided.

Breckenridge is the ideal location for both summer and winter vacations.  It puts you in the middle of world class skiing, fishing, hiking, and golfing.  So whatever the season, there is always a reason for Breckenridge.
