Winter or summer, this brand new log home is the perfect way to experience the Castle Rock Lake area.  Enjoy the best of both worlds – your own private sandy (algae free) beach on a 3-acre swimming pond or the fourth largest lake in WI – Castle Rock Lake in beautiful Juneau County.  Everyone knows the summer is a great time to visit the area but the winter has become more popular as snowmobile rentals and groomed trails are easily accessible.  There are also 2 ski resorts within 45 minutes - Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are also available.

The spacious interior can accomodate a large gathering of up to 15 people.  There are 4 bedrooms and  3 ½ baths on 3 levels to allow multiple families to share the house and have their own privacy.

  • 2012 Weekly Rates during prime season (Memorial Day – June 15) - $2,500 per week
  • June 15 - Labor Day - $2,700 per week
  • $100 cleaning fee not included in price
  • Weekly rentals run Friday after 4 pm thru Friday at 10 a.m.
  • Ask about the rent-to-own option, or long-term leasing option (own without real estate taxes!)

This is a fantastic house. Great ammenities, wonderful swimming lake, sandy beach, plenty of beds, the big lake is just at the end of the road, and the owners were very easy to work with. I highly recommend this place if you are planning to travel to this area. Easy access to the Dells, and all the other local attractions. 5 *****.

Awesome Time

My family and I had a great time staying here for our parent's 50th anniversary. There ended up being 15 of us and we all slept very comfortably and had plenty of room to spread out - the kids spent most of the time at the private beach enjoying the catch and release fishing. I highly recommend this wonderful house for big or multi-family get togethers. As the subdivision is still being developed, we usually had the lake and the clubhouse to ourselves whenever we wanted. Great place - would love to go back!

wonderful week at Bear Lodge!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for an immediate-family reunion for 11 people. The house looked new, was roomy and clean, and had what we needed. The water in the pond in front of the house had exciting catch-and release fishing for the children (AND their excited Grandpa)-- it was easy to catch something and they all adored it. The water there was so clean you could see the fish, so we also felt good swimming in it. It was so convenient to be on the nice little beach there. In addition, we had access to the club house to swim/hottub/play fooseball during bad weather, and the larger lake to boat on is on the other side of the house (we didnt catch any fish there though). Everyone was extremely pleased with the vacation, theya re all still talking about it as one of hte best vacations ever!
