Brand new waterfront home located in the Reef Village Resort Development in San Pedro on the Belize island of Ambergris Caye. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, tile floors, hardwood cabinets, and granite counter tops in the kitchen. The home is kept cool with central air conditioning and ceiling fans in all rooms. The floor plan is open, and the ceilings are high, allowing in an abundance of natural light. The covered veranda overlooks the lagoon and is really an extension of the living space, giving the home a great indoor/outdoor dimension. Lagoon views and access to the veranda are available from the living room, master bedroom and one of the two guest bedrooms. The entire roof top is a deck which has great sunset lagoon views. Or use the deck to sunbathe or entertain friends - the deck comes complete with numerous electrical outlets and exterior lighting.
The home is located across the bridge, just north of San Pedro, a fun little town, with friendly people and many restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shops, and dive operators. The main modes of transportation on the island are water taxi, bike, golf cart and of course, by foot. Walk across the sand road and be at the beach in 3 or 4 minutes. Once at the beach, you can get picked up at the dock for daily scuba, snorkel, and fishing trips. The home is a 10-15 minute walk to the center of San Pedro, or 5 minutes in a golf cart or bike, both of which can be rented in town or through the resort office.
Ambergris Caye is an island located approximately 30 miles off the mainland of Belize, an English speaking Central American country located on the Caribbean Sea. Belize is known the world over for its spectacular barrier reef (the world's second largest), friendly people, amazing ecological diversity, scenic beauty, phenomenal scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing. It also has some of Central America's best preserved Mayan ruins and archeological sites and an abundance of adventure opportunities.
From the United States, fly into Belize International Airport(BZE) in Belize City. Then, take a 20 minute flight via Tropic Air or Maya Air to the airstip in San Pedro. Alternately, you can take a 1 1/2 hour ferry trip from Belize City. Once you are at the airstrip in San Pedro, we will arrange for you to be picked up and driven via golf cart to the resort at no charge

activities and attractions in Ambergris Caye Belize
The local scuba diving is excellent and it is extremely convenient. All of the local dive operators are experienced, safe, responsible and best of all, they will pick you up for daily dive trips at the local beach pier, which is about a 3 or 4 minute walk from the home. The Belize Barrier Reef is just a few hundred yards offshore, so the boat ride to most of the dive sites takes no more than 5 minutes. If you want to venture out further to some of the coral atolls offshore (Belize has 3 of the 4 atolls in the Western Hemisphere) like Glover's Reef or the Great Blue Hole, you can do that too and be back by the end of the day. The diving out there is probably the best in all of the Caribbean.
The fantastic fishing is probably the best kept secret of Ambergris Caye. Fly fishing in the flats for bone fish, tarpon, and permit is excellent and you can catch all three in one day - fishing's grand slam. Big game deep sea fishing and reef fishing also offer plenty of opportunities for even the most experienced and well traveled angler. You will love the fishing here, guaranteed!
The water inside the barrier reef is warm, clear, and calm which provides a great environment for swimming at the beach plus all manner of water sports, such as windsurfing, kite boarding, kayaking, and jet skiing.
On the mainland (a short flight away), there are numerous opportunities for adventure, such as hiking, visiting Mayan ruins, cave tubing, zip lining, or just exploring nature which is in abundance here.
