only 3 blocks from the beautiful Indian River! A newer county 
library with high speed internet access is only a block away. 
Historic Downtown(Canal Street), the new City Marina, public boat 
launching and Riverside Park are about a mile away. At Riverside 
Park you can take the new Water Taxi to Ponce Inlet and enjoy a
restaurant on the water and tour the 2nd tallest light house in the 
country! It is also less than 3 miles to the ocean with its white 
sandy beaches and to the attractions/events on Flagler Street.

Activities and Attractions

New Smyrna is a small town which makes it easy to find your way
around.  You will quickly find that the people here are very 
friendly! The municipal golf course has just been completely 
updated/improved and other golf courses abound in the area. Historic 
and ecological tours of the Indian River, the most diverse estuary 
in all of North America, are available through the local Marine 
Discovery Center. The Cape Canaveral National Sea Shore, a national 
park, is only about seven miles south of Flagler Street. At the 
north end of this barrier island is the Dunes Park with miles of 
board walks from which you can explore the rugged northern tip of 
the island. There are a great variety of eating places locally and 
the live "Little Theater" plus a 6 screen movie theater in town. The 
prestigious Atlantic Center for the arts, numerous galleries and 
many arts, crafts and antique car shows are available locally. 
Daytona Beach with Nash Car Races/attractions is a twenty minute 
drive away and all of the Orlando attractions are a little more than 
an hour's drive. Dolphins, manatees, a multitude of birds and 
turtles can often be seen as well as launches from Kennedy Space 
Center.  New Smyrna Beach has been called, "a pearl of the ocean" 
and "a little bit of paridise" by those who love her. It's 
definitely a great place to vacation! Come find out for yourself.
