Lilypad Lake House on Algonquin Lake - in Gun Lake

The Lilypad Lakehouse is our vacation home in Michigan. It is located 30 miles south of Grand Rapids near the town of Hastings, MI on Algonquin Lake.

Relax to sunset views of Indian island from the deck. The sandy swim area with landscpaped beach equals hours of summer fun & leisure. Enjoy excellent waterskiing, quiet fishing, on the all sports 240 acre Algonquin Lake. As a private lake, Algonquin Lake offers its residents peaceful recreation without the crowds of public lakes. Water skiiers enjoy the slalom course. Fishermen benefit from a healthy bass population and a growing walleye propulation as a result of an active fish stocking program. Enjoy evenings gathering around the built in fire-pit. 

Each 4th of July, the Algonquin Lake Community Association sponsers a pig roast, 5K run, decoratvie boat parade, and a fireworks show from Snake Island, which can be viewed from the deck and beach. Algonquin Lake is a 30 minute drive to Grand Rapids and a 40 minute drive to Lansing, Kalamazoo, and only 3 hours from Detroit.

This is a no smoking cottage.  We are very strict regarding this policy. Cancer is too devastating to support the use of tobacco products.  There is no smoking anywhere on the Lilypad Lakehouse property.

Upon booking rental dates, a $275.00 refundable cleaning/damage/security deposit is due.

One month prior to the check-in date half of the rent is due.  Two weeks prior to the check-in the remainder is due.  In the case of less than two weeks to date of arrival, then immediate full payment is required.
