Nice cosy place, well-priced and good location

The property is well located for access to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is very roomy and well-equipped to house a party of six. The owner Rick was very prompt and a nice person to deal with. This was the only property that allowed a 3 night stay.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Rick,

Thank you so much for the use of your home this past week. It was a
family vacation that we will never forget.

Williams is an amazing little town and we enjoyed everything....from
the canyons to the petrified forest and painted desert to just
spending days in Williams and all the local attractions. My husband
and I even took a few bike rides in the morning it was so beautiful!
Sedona was amazing too! Words can't explain how much we enjoyed our
vacation.

Thanks so much for all your help and your recommendations. We had a
wonderful time and your home was in excellent condition and so
organized and clean! Thank you so much! You have been very thoughtful
in all the details you provided and it was all very much appreciated!!
We all felt right at home and hope that we left everything in great
shape too! We all got a laugh at how my daughter had to pick up all the pine cones
in the back yard and count them over and over..so we left them in a
bag in case you were to prefer not to pick them all up again. She had
so much fun with the pine cones that I brought one home to make an
ornament for our Christmas tree, as a reminder. It was so cute.

I really appreciate all your help and would recommend your home to
anyone! Thanks again!!!! Hope you and your family have a wonderful
summer!!

God Bless,
Nancy B.

Area sights and activities

Review submitted: April 20, 2010   Date of arrival: April 11, 2010

Rick,

We made it home safe and sound. We're a tad exhausted from all the day trips but your home made the trips much more relaxing versus checking in and out of hotels on a day by day basis. We covered close to 1000 miles of local adventures from the Grand Canyon to Winslow to Sedona and up into the Painted Desert. Going from different altitude levels daily took it's toll on me with sinus ailments but that's a small price to pay for the pleasure of your scenery around Williams.

Since the house was perfect the only feedback I could offer is maybe a guest note pad left on the coffee table for all to sign and leave notes or tips of the area the next guest could benefit from reading. Of course you gave us so many good pointers to see and do there was no way we could fit them all into our agenda. We only had five days and we had a schedule to keep so we had to keep running a bit. We took a Pink Jeep tour in Sedona to ancient ruins that made an interesting day.

In summary, you have a grand place and I'm certain you'll enjoy your retirement once you elect to stay in Williams. I trust the housekeeper found we left everything in good order. Let us know if we missed anything. Thanks again for the loan of your home. There are a few friends in our work who appear to be interested in spending time away and I wouldn't be surprised if they contact you to book a future reservation after hearing of our adventures. Look us up if you travel to Florida in the future!

Best wishes,

Graham & Cheryl
