Bonny Doon Sanctuary for Rent - Minimum Stay of One Month in Santa Cruz

I'm seeking the ideal person(s) to enjoy and treasure my very special Bonny Doon sanctuary and be a nurturing companion for my cat while I'm on sabbatical. (Sorry, no additional animals allowed.)

My 1400-square-foot home is a sunny and gracious space, located on 57 gorgeous acres with ocean and forest views and an extensive meditative garden. It's a 15-minute drive from the UCSC campus, and just 20 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz.

The main house is divided into two separate, independent residences. You'll also have the use of three freestanding sleeping cabins on the property. My side of the house is completely private and separate from the other side; you can run around naked in my home and my garden. (The other side of the house is rented out and is fully self-sufficient.)

-  French doors open to decks from all rooms providing indoor/outdoor living
-  Shed of firewood is provided for the woodstove (primary heat source, very
   efficient)
-  Huge office with desk, dedicated fax machine, printer and copier
-  Unlimited free domestic long distance, two phone lines, DSL/wireless
   Internet
-  Beautiful hardwood floors
-  Art pieces, oriental rugs, antiques
-  Pure running spring water blessed by John of God and Ama Gee
-  32-inch-screen television with DVD/VCR (no TV reception)
-  Washer and dryer

The sublet is basically for September through December but could extend as late
as possibly January or longer (I’m flexible). The shortest period I’m willing to rent for is one month. No smoking or additional animals, please.  Referrals appreciated.

This rate pays for all utilities, twice-monthly housecleanings, unlimited long distance and wireless internet. I also require a deposit equal to one month's rent.
