This beautiful, secluded mountain home makes you feel like you are miles from anywhere, though Boulder is just a stone’s throw away. The peaceful setting provides inspiring views over the Front Range and plains, which you can enjoy from your hammock, skychair, and even the kitchen sink. Situated at the end of a mile-long, dirt driveway, your nearest neighbors are half a mile away, and a variety of wildlife wanders through the property on a daily basis.

The house offers the comforts and warmth of a much-loved home, along with the luxuries and conveniences of a dedicated vacation rental property. The house is furnished with everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable stay, from wildflower guides to Wusthof knives.

The property is unavailable for winter bookings (from Jan 1 - April 9), owing to potential access issues.

The house is fully equipped with all the appliances, furniture and utensils you will need for a luxurious stay. The wrap-around deck has great views, and a sky chair and hammock to relax in. The balcony outside the master bedroom is a favorite spot for coffee in the morning. There is a trampoline, archery range, and a wide range of toys and games, which are great hits with the kids. If the weather cools off, enjoy the woodstove or turn on the radiant floor heating and sit back and enjoy a movie on the 48" screen. 

Boulder, which Forbes rated the "Best US Town to Live Well In" in 2008, is only a 20-minute drive away, and lives up to its name. Boulder Creek provides a focus for tubing, hiking and biking, and the town is well-endowed with restaurants, coffee shops and other attractions.

Closer to home, the charming, historic town of Gold Hill offers an insight to the area's mining roots. In less than 30 minutes, you can be driving or biking on the Peak-to-Peak scenic byway (which will take you to Rocky Mountain National Park), or enjoying the spectacular hiking and wildflowers in the extensive Indian Peaks Wilderness Area.

Low season: $260/nt; $1,500/wk; $5,000/mo. 3-night minimum stay.

High season (May 5-11, May 27-Sept 6 inclusive): $300/nt; $1,750/wk; $6,000/mo. 4-night minimum stay.

Damage deposit = $500 (authorized, but not charged), cleaning fee = $150.
