Cute,clean cottage on the water. Between Kennebunkport and Cape
Porpoise near the Bush home.Roomy 3 BR, 2 baths,fireplace,equipped
kitchen,fully and nicely finished in comfortable antique and
contemporary furniture.We are proud of our maintenance and

Vacation Rental Amenities

As the photo shows, the view is of the island with Rachel Carson Wildlife Sanctuary,to the left is 
Cape Porpoise harbor,to the right is the Atlantic Ocean. 2 bedrooms with double 
beds plus
1 bedroom with twin beds. Also daybed in extra sitting
room.Wood-burning fireplace(can be used in Maine in the summer!).
Two decks with fantastic views.
All kitchen equipment,towels,bedding.Washer and dryer.  
2.5 miles to Dock Square, Kennebunkport. One mile to Bush home. 
Small beach in front,but the Maine ocean is chilly! 
Cable TV and DVD player.
2 Kayaks  and bikes on site. Paddle to Cape Porpoise(one of the
principal Maine lobstering ports)or out to see the seals.At low tide
walk across to Vaughn's Island(the 50 acre Rachel Carson Wildlife
sanctuary visible in the photos).
Visit nearby Lobster Pounds(restaurants) or cook 'em in our pot.
Easily accessible from Portland airport or from Boston train.

Activities and Attractions

Swimming(brrr).Hiking. Art galleries. Sightseeing. Antiques. More
Antiques. Biking. Kayaking. Great world-class and family restaurants 
in area. Lobster boat,sailing ship,and whale watch cruises nearby.
Horseback riding stable 15 min. away. High-class resort area
without "snooty" feel. Cape Porpoise,Goose Rocks Beach,Wells and
Ogunquit nearby. Or fine to just chill out.

  A winter rental is now available 9-29-08 to 5-30-09. Check below for details.    
  We have a wonderful place priced right and it reserves quickly!!
Summer rates per week: $1000 for May, $1300 for June, $1700 for July and August.
      $1400 for September (All for Saturday at 3:00 PM to Saturday checkout
      at 11:00 AM.)  Call for details. 
           
** All Plus 7% Maine sales tax.
 Please note: We are accepting applications for a winter rental, Sept.29,2008 to May 30,2009 at
$950 per month plus heat and electric. A wonderful opprtunity to have a home at the shore at a
