Nantahala River Lodge is a unique riverfront cabin and property - perfect for Families, Friends and Fishermen.  It offers 1400 feet of river frontage, privacy, quick access to area attractions, luxury accommodations and world class fishing.  Featuring reclaimed wood from our family's North Carolina cabins and barn, coupled with the use of native stone, the Nantahala River Lodge reflects artistry at the hands of local stonemasons and craftsmen.  Every detail was carefully considered as we blended our family history into the creation of the Nantahala River Lodge.

The rushing river is just a few steps from the front door.   Relax in our riverside chairs or hammock and enjoy the clear mountain water as it flows over ancient river stones.  Step into the cool water of the Nantahala River for hours of trout fishing or water fun.  Enjoy the picnic area, gather around the campfire, tell stories and look for fireflies at night.   

Within walking distance, you'll find the Nantahala River Launch Site where Class II and III whitewater rafting begins, the Bartram Trail, and a paved path that winds along the river bank.  A short distance away you will find waterfalls, outdoor outfitters, lakes, hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, gem mines, family and gourmet restaurants, shopping and the best the Smoky Mountains has to offer.

After a day filled with mountain adventures, return to the comfort the Nantahala River Lodge offers.  Gather around the large dining table.  Curl up and watch a great movie or read a book in front of the fire.  Open the windows and let the sound of the river lull you to sleep.
