This house is in a magnificent location with panoramic views of snow capped Longs Peak and the Continental Divide, great rock formations all around. Walking distance to some of the best hiking trails in Estes Park and Rocky Mtn National Park, yet only 1 mile to town and the Old Stanley Hotel Landmark Resort! You can even bring your own horses to ride, there's shelter and fencing if you choose to bring your horses.

May 24 - Oct 15  $425/night for main house, 2 night minimum at daily rate, negotiable for longer stays. Cabin/Guesthouse is $145 per night. Not available during winter months.

Oct 16-May 23  $350 per night for main house.

 

Thanksgiving and Christmas time, prime time, $425.  4 Day Minimum.


A $400 Security Deposit required. 14 day cancellation notice required.

This property is warm, inviting and impeccably decorated. We felt so comfortable and relaxed, it was just what our family needed for a long weekend. The location was perfect, only 1 mile town, yet tucked away in the peaceful setting of the McGraw ranch. It was especially convenient access to the trails on Devils Gulch just a short walk away! We loved sitting by the cozy stone fireplaces during the crisp fall evenings. The incredible views of Longs Peak are seen from each room in the front of the house. The view is especially lovely from the front solarium- also an enjoyable place to kick back and read a good book. We enjoyed cooking at home and rest assured that this kitchen has everything that you can possibly need to whip up a gourmet meal. Our expectations were exceeded by this home and by the owner. My family and I are looking forward to our next visit! We highly recommend it!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Beautiful, spacious, amazing views, great location

We had a great experience from start to finish. The owner was very accomodating and helpful. Photos on this site are great, but the house definitely exceeded our expectations. The house was immanculate and very well cared for. Every room has it's own unique and tasteful furnishings. The architechtural details of the house were fascinating. We had a party of 6 adults and 2 small children and we had plenty of room. We could easily escape each other because of the way the house is set up, and there are so many warm and inviting rooms to hang out in. The bedrooms were fantastic--tons of light and huge closets. Bathrooms were all very charming. My favorite room was the front solarium room...every afternoon we would sit in there and read or play games and drink tea while gazing at Longs Peak through the picture windows (felt like a lady of leisure--which made it a true getaway!). Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this house. Would love to come back in the Summer time and take advantage of hiking behind the house, and all around RMNP.

Only drawbacks to house/experience is that the kitchen is not a "chef's" kitchen. My husband, the chef of the group, didn't find the 1950's stove "charming." But the layout of kitchen is nice and fridge was all modern. Also, there was no DVD player in the family room (there was a large flat screen tv though, and full cable). And this was not a drawback for us, since my husband and I had the master suite, but you will need to draw straws on who gets the master! But all bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. There are really only 3 actual bedrooms, and then a little den/suite with it's own bathroom on the other side of the house, which can be considered a bedroom.

Estes Park itself is a great spot for anyone looking to get away in the mountains. We spent lots of time in Longs Peak Coffee House--a very nice artsy coffee house with great light and interesting paper goods for sale. We took our kids to the all the fun local touristy spots too...old fashioned pictures, sledding etc. The Stanley Hotel should be visited too...a definite throwback to the early opulent 1920s.

I highly recommend this house! Amazing!
