Tropical, Upgraded, Beachfront Condominium in Progreso

This beautiful condo is right on the beach, and has unrestricted ocean views because it is on the third floor. It stays cool, because there are several large windows in each room to display the ocean views, and let the tropical breezes in. 

It is fully upgraded, with Mexican tile throughout.  The furniture and furnishings are comfortable and elegant.  The living room has large, tinted windows across the front, high ceilings , and deluxe ceiling fans for that tropical breeze feel.

The kitchen has full cupboards for storage, is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, electrical appliances and dishes you will need.  It has a large stove and refrigerator.  There is cooking services available quite cheaply.

The bathrooms have floor to ceiling tile, and have all the towels you will need.

Two bedrooms have outdoor balconeys overlooking the ocean, to sit out on and read, or play cards.  They have king size beds, lots of windows, celing fans, all the furnishings (dresser, table, lamp, pictures, linens, etc.)

There is also a laundry room in the unit for easy laundering.  It has a large washer and dryer, and hot water heater for lots of hot water.

There is a large viewing terrace upstairs with panoramic ocean views , and semi-private sun bathing.

There are two parking stalls, and a neighborhood watch.  It is very safe.  It is right on the bus line, with buses and taxis coming approx. every 5 minutes to take you to central Progreso, Merida, and beyond.  There is no need for a car.  It is a 5 minute walk from the main town of Chicxulub, with stores, restaurants, dinig.

It is a 40 minute drive from the International city of Merida, with the international airport.  Merida has museums, historical sites, culture, old churches, plenty of shopping, dining, modern restaurants, fast food, cultural events, plays, and weekend festivities displaying Mexican Dance.  There is an old ruin just outside of town. 

There are several ruins, and ceynotes within a 15 minute drive.  Cruise ships and entertainment are frequent, plus nightime activities.  There is a harbor within 15 minutes with all the water sport-jet skiis, fishing, ect.

Sept. thru November-1,150.  December through March is lowered to $1,050/month.  Long term renters may ask for a deal.
