Experience historic colonial Mexico with us at Casa Gavira in the beautiful historic center of Guanajuato. Casa Gavira is a 100 year old home located on a quiet plaza downtown just up behind the Mercado (Market) Hidalgo.  The home is luxurious with an authentic Spanish-Mexican style.

Lounge in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine while listening to the record player.  Or relax in the hammock in the plant-filled courtyard while listening to the soothing sound of water from the fountain.  Shop for groceries just steps away at the Hidalgo Market and cook a meal in the open-aired kitchen.  Take in the beautiful view of Guanajuato from the quiet plaza or from the roof top terrace.

The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.  Each of the 2 bedrooms has a queen sized bed with a high quality mattress, access to its own bathroom, and a window to the courtyard. The living room is large and grandeur with high wood-beamed ceilings and a spiral staircase that leads to the rooftop.  The Arabic lounge seating around the fireplace can also sleep an additional 2 people. The interior courtyard provides a refreshing outdoor space in the heart of the home complete with plants, fountain, and a hammock.
