Tennessee Escape in Dandridge

Location: Tennessee < USANearest Airport: Knoxville, TN at 30 Miles Sitting on 11 acres this hidden paradise will eventually be our permanent home. But for right now we are renting this home at extremely reasonable rates for two reasons. Give people a change to relax and spend quality time with family and it's helps pay the mortgage. Front porch overlooks wildlife and acreage while you hear the wind whistling thru the trees. Side porch has charcoal grill and table. While the rear porch has views over Douglas Lake which is most serene. Even at night the lights reflect off the water. This place is made for peace and quiet and enjoying life, while still within reach of all attractions. Wildlife right out the front door: often deer and wild turkeys wander the property, as do rabbits and squirrels and when lucky the ground hog will show his presence. There is lots to do in the area including fishing, golf, horseback riding, white water rafting as well as area attractions from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The home is also located by beautiful caverns.

First floor 1900 square feet, finished rooms in basement have heat and air. 

Master Bedroom:  French doors leading out to covered back porch.  Great views of Douglas Lake while sitting outside  ( this is the place for smoking for those with the habit)  New furniture with queen size mattress, remodeled bath with tiled shower and new fixtures.  Towel warmer and new tile floor.  New carpeting and walk in closet

Second bedroom:  King size bed with new mattress, large closet, new carpeting

Third bedroom:  Two twin size beds and new carpeting Portable crib in closet.

Living Room:  Fireplace for cold time, please be sure to open damper. French doors leading to covered porch great for peaceful viewing and relaxing.  There is a BOSE music system, so bring your CDs. Two couches with pull out queen size mattress. Space wise - pulling out only one couch would be better.

Dining Room:  Bench style table with extra benches for each side. High chair to slide up to table.

Kitchen:   New refrigerator with automatic ice, glass top stove and dishwasher 

Second bath:  Remodeled, open and everything is clean.  Plenty of towels.

Finished basement:   two separate rooms, plus laundry room.  New oak stairs with two hand railings.  Large finished area yet to be filled with pool table.

Down stair first room: French doors leading to outside lower level.  This room has futon and chair perfect for reading and relaxing.  Books and games in closet.  TV /DVD bring movies, no cable or local channels.  .

Second down stair room:  Two twin beds with closet.

Rates are simple:  $100 per night 3 - 7 nights preferred. 

Deposits are required $350.  Will be mailed within 4 days of leaving property. If you send us a check we will not cash it unless damage is done.  And then balance of check will be returned.  If reserved  enough in advance a signed and returned rental agreement can take the place of the deposit.

$100 cleaning fee for 4 people; $125 cleaning fee for more

Rates are good up to August 30. After that $125 per night ( minimum required)  cleaning fee stays the same. 

 Sleeps six people upstairs (excluding pull out couches). Downstairs 2 twin bed plus futon. Monthly rates are available upon request.  Call for details regarding pets.
