Key Colony Beach is located at MM 54, Oceanside, on US1 just north
of Marathon. Our tiny city boasts parks, a playground, golf course,
tennis courts, waterfront park and charter fishing fleet. These
recreation areas as well as a post office, several restaurants and a
small shopping center are within walking distance. The two main
thoroughfares feature wide, protected lanes for walkers, bicylers or
joggers.

Nearby Marathon offers a new, modern airport, a hospital, library,
movie theater and a fine beach and recreation area. The Dolphin
Research Center, Museum of Natural History of the Florida Keys and
historic Pigeon Key are all located within a few minutes of Key
Colony Beach.

The fishing and diving are great any time of year. There’s always
something biting: dolphin, sailfish, tuna, kingfish, cobia, tarpon
bonefish, etc., etc.! And don’t forget all the snapper and
grouper! Just bring your boat and fishing or diving gear (or rent a
boat and equipment nearby) or if you prefer, hire one of the many
