 Welcome to Serenity Cove at Canyon Lake is a beautiful three-bedroom two and a half-bathroom home, and comes with a Chef prepared meal one night for 10 (additional guests extra). Imagine spending your Saturday at the Lake boating, fishing, or tubing at the river, the last thing you want to do is come back and make dinner or find a local eatery that everyone can agree on. Now imagine coming home to a Chef preparing a five-course meal for you and your family, while you relax and enjoy your vacation. We have hired a professional chef who caters to what you need after a long day of activities. . Located in a secluded area and close to two boat ramps, a small grocery store, and nearby New Braunfels, this home has plenty of space for friends and family gatherings. The house has one king bed, two queen beds, and two full size bunk beds.  Amenities include a full gourmet kitchen, bi-level decks, BBQ pit, two televisions, washer and dryer, hot tub, large master shower, a beautiful view of the lake from almost every room, and lake access via footpath. Deer and other wildlife are abundant and can be seen in the neighborhood at all hours of the day. 

Located about fifteen minutes from the Serenity Cove is the nearby town of New Braunfels which is famous for it’s many festivals, Schlitterbahn, Guadalupe and Comal Rivers, Historic Gruene, and many other various events. Canyon Lake is considered one of the clearest lakes in Texas making it ideal for scuba diving, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and many other water activities. Canyon Lake is a center for recreation in the area. The Corps of Engineers built and maintains eight park areas around the lake for camping, swimming, boating and picnicking. Comal County also provides several boat ramps for access to the lake. Hike, bike and equestrian trails are available, as is limited hunting.

Bank fishing is available in all park areas, and a 24 hour fishing dock can be found in Cranes Mill Park on the south side of the lake.

Canyon Lake Gorge

The Canyon Lake Gorge is a beautiful and natural insight into the geology and hydrologic dynamics of Glen Rose limestone in Comal County near Canyon Lake. The Gorge was created, or "cut" when floodwaters escaped over the Spillway at Canyon Lake during the Flood Event of 2002.

The Gorge Preservation Society (GPS) is a local citizen's group who have partnered with the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is dedicated to developing long-term plans for the Gorge. The National Association of Recreation Resource Planners (NARRP) has awarded its 2008 "Excellence in Planning Award" to the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA), Halff Associates Inc., and the Gorge Preservation Society for the Canyon Lake Gorge Master Plan for this unique area.
