In 2006, a Beautiful Lake house was built at the base of the Texas Hill Country along the pristine shores of Canyon Lake to provide a relaxing retreat and act as a meeting place for friends and family. Comfortably supporting large groups: a full kitchen hosts cooking for the whole family. The Home--now named Serenity Cove at Canyon Lake and listed on our website--looks much the same today as it did back then. Surrounded by miles of Texas Hill Country's "mountains". The homes exterior belies a cozy atmosphere inside, with tall ceilings, comfy beds, furnishings, and relaxing atmosphere. The roomy home comes with a cozy living rooms, and private covered porches with ceiling fans and outdoor furnishings.
Gleaming ceramic tile floors flank a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and each private balcony off the lakefront home looks out to the rolling green hillside and placid blue water. After a long day take a dip in the jacuzzi, named after famed hot-tub architect Giuseppe Jacuzzi, and furnished with one of his namesake inventions overlooking Canyon Lake in the Texas Hill Country. This relaxing sauna session may help to oust toxins, clear sinuses, and cleanse the soul. Downstairs at Serenity Cove, beautiful rooms find inspiration in their Hill Country surroundings that help guests adjust to the thin mountain air with large rooms and views of the lake.
Gruene, and Canyon Lake are famous for their abundance of country music shows, dinner eateries, theater venues, and shopping. Once visitors have had their fill of this part of the Texas Hill Country, they can take a trip to New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn a sprawling theme park with water rides, nearby live music at the numerous libation stations, McAdoos Seafood Company, and pioneer craft shops. Located just 14 miles from New Braunfels and Gruene, Serenity Cove at Canyon Lake offers a convenient home base to explore these attractions and take advantage of nearby Canyon Lake's quiet, natural setting.
Just 5 miles south of Serenity Cove, the Whitewater amphitheater has become known as the Live Music Show Capital of south Texas, with 20 live performances featuring more than 50 shows. Shows range from rock 'n' roll, local music, and country's musics most famous musicians.
Floating down a river has long been the epic journey, from Lewis and Clark's exploratory sojourn to numerous household pets trying to find their way home. Located five minutes from Serenity Cove at Canyon Lake is a large assortment of "toobing" rental establishments. Each tube rental facility has a rental fleet of water-dirigibles that usher in leisurely maritime adventures on the lush waters of the Guadalupe River. Inner-tubes cradle the relaxed bodies of slow-paced thrill-seekers as they partake of an epic journey around the famed Horseshoe. Floats can be a 1- to 10-mile odyssey that can last three-eight hours depending on the number of frightened thrill seekers you're able to bribe with refreshments, and the possibility of good times. Each tubing outfitter can accommodate large groups, and rent by the half-day or full-day consisting of floats that traverse 1- or 10-mile journeys, estimated. As the natural beauty of the surrounding riverside evokes audible gasps and joyful weeping, toobmates are encouraged to sup on their own food and drink.
Serenity Cove At Canyon Lake is a bi-level home, The Living Room, Dining area, Kitchen, and Master Suite is on the top floor, with an inviting King size bed, its own balcony, large walk-in closet, and luxurious bathroom with large shower, two separate sink areas, and separate toilet room. A second Living Room, two Bedrooms and a full Bathroom are located on the lower level. There is also over 1000 square feet of balconies with overhead fans, plenty of seating to enjoy 140 degree panoramic lake views off the Living Room. Large patio doors open all the way giving captivating views of the lake and hill country from the Living Room, Kitchen, and Dining area

activities and attractions in Canyon Lake Texas
Canyon Lake is a center for recreation in the area. The Corps of Engineers built and maintains eight park areas around the lake for camping, swimming, boating and picnicking. Comal County also provides several boat ramps for access to the lake. Hike, bike and equestrian trails are available, as is limited hunting.
Bank fishing is available in all park areas, and a 24 hour fishing dock can be found in Cranes Mill Park on the south side of the lake.
Canyon Lake Gorge
The Canyon Lake Gorge is a beautiful and natural insight into the geology and hydrologic dynamics of Glen Rose limestone in Comal County near Canyon Lake. The Gorge was created, or "cut" when floodwaters escaped over the Spillway at Canyon Lake during the Flood Event of 2002.
The Gorge Preservation Society (GPS) is a local citizen's group who have partnered with the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is dedicated to developing long-term plans for the Gorge. The National Association of Recreation Resource Planners (NARRP) has awarded its 2008 "Excellence in Planning Award" to the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA), Halff Associates Inc., and the Gorge Preservation Society for the Canyon Lake Gorge Master Plan for this unique area.
