There aren't too many places that you can feel as though you are in the wilderness with all your creature comforts and still be within 25-30 minutes to the quaint village of Bristol, a place that has everything you need and takes you for a little visit back in time.
The car road to this "Lodge" takes you for a little ride through the middle of an open field over a beaver pond into a small meadow to the foot of "Hogsback" mountain just far enough to "get away" and just close enough to feel secure.
Four bedroom Post & Beam at the foot of a mountain containing 93 acres of hiking, relaxing, having an outside campfire or just sitting on the deck listening to the birds and the sounds of the forest.
This recently built Post & Beam with beautiful cherry hardwood floor living space is stunning. Everything you would want in a home and it's all off grid. There is a generator a distance away from the building that only runs occasionally when the inverter system needs more power along with the solar panels on the standing seam roof that are an extra trickle charge for your automatically controlled electrical system. You don't even have to think about it except to feel good about the fact that you are off grid.Cell phones work well here. There is a 32" flat screen TV with Satelite service.
House contains three levels. Finished walk-out area has two large bedrooms each with a queen size bed. Main floor has an open floor plan. Kichen/dining/living is "L" shape with a half bath. Living room has two sofas and comfy chairs. The dining area can seat up to ten people. Upstairs boast two very large bedrooms. One has a queen size bed and the other a king size bed with a set of twin beds. This bedroom has a clothes closet and a linen closet. All bedrooms have closets and bureaus. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a room width closet.
The kitchen is furnished with a new propane range and a full 19 cu.ft. combination frig/freezer. All dishes, kitchen utensils, appliances and linens (bath/bedroom & kitchen) are furnished. There is a hair dryer and flat iron/ironing board. We can furnish high chair and/or portacrib if needed.
