Vacation Rental Description

The Stencil House is in Highlands, NC and conveniently located just 2-1/2 miles from Main Street. Come enjoy  
the tranquility, fresh mountain air and a glimpse of wildlife that only a mountain vacation offer. At an elevation  
of 4118' you can enjoy summer temperatures in the mid-70s.  
 
A local artist hand painted stencils in all of the rooms. The accommodations are well appointed, all with your  
comfort in mind. The home features an open floor plan, with 20' high ceilings in the living area with one wall  
covered in bark edge siding for a very rustic flare but the home is anything but rustic. Decorated with antiques,  
oriental rugs, the home features maple cabinetry, granite and stone countertops. The living room has a cozy  
gas fireplace. Sliding glass doors open to a private deck where you can relax in the hot tub and take in the  
serene mountain view. Or relax in one of the comfy rocking chairs. All rooms have a awesome mountain view.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Air conditioning, satellite TV, full size kitchen complete with all cooking utensils, plus instant hot water  
dispenser, ice maker, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffeepot.  King size bedrooms with all linens provided.  
Complimentary cereal, coffee, tea, milk, popcorn provided for your first night stay. Starter supply of paper  
goods, soap and shampoo. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board and laundry room. Telephone, CD/cassette/radio  
player, assorted DVDs, books and local maps for your enjoyment. Fax service is available through our  
construction office during business hours.

Antiquing, biking, hiking, horse back riding, golf, gourmet restaurants, live theatre during season, shopping, live  
auctions, scenic overlooks, botanical gardens, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, gem mining, nature center,  
snow tubing.

Vacation Rental Rates

Can be rented as 1 Bedroom or 2 Bedroom.  
Off Season (Nov. 1 - April 30) - $159. per nite, 1 BR, 2 person occupancy; $249. per nite, 2 BR, 3-4 person  
occupancy. 
On Season (May 1 - Oct. 31) - $189. per nite, 1 BR, 2 person occupancy; $279. per nite, 2 BR, 3-4 person  
occupancy. 2 nite minimum stay, EXCEPT Holidays - we require a 3 nite stay. If renting the home as a 1  
bedroom, upstairs will be locked. First floor is complete with 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, dining and living area  
and laundry room.  
50% advance deposit required to secure reservation, remaining balance along with state and occupancy tax  
will be charged to your credit card on day of check in. Visa and MasterCard Accepted.
