Chalet Retreat on Private Lake with Boats Included! in Fife Lake

A large manicured lawn with beautiful gardens surround this chalet retreat.  Tall pank cedar ceilings and large windows reflect the water and sunlight of the summer day.  This retreat has a spacious floor plan with large rooms to move about (approximately 2000 square feet).  A home where you will feel relaxed on the multiple decks, gardens and beautiful lake.  

Located on 160 private acres, it has a private "gated" drive to the home, and sits on private natural spring lake (with only two other homes on it.....in which one of those is also ours!).  Enjoy your own small dock, pontoon, paddle boat, canoe, 2 kayaks, fishing boat and swimming raft!  Terrific pan fishing and swimming.

You may combine this retreat with our Log Retreat and accommodate a larger group or family reunion!  

Interior:

This spacious chalet has a master suite loft with two full beds, a large full bathroom, and fabulous views of the lake from the large lakeside windows.  The main level has a large kitchen with everything that you need right down to the dishwasher.  The second bedroom has a queen size bed in it.  Another full bathroom is also located on the main floor (all linens are provided for your convenience), as well as a full size washer and dryer.  The living room is nice and open with amazing views and has a large stone fireplace.  There is a nice size sunroom off of the living room that houses a futon for sleeping as well.

Exterior:

This retreat sits on 160 acres of private land with plenty of wild life (so be careful driving).  The property sits on a private 25 acre lake called Downs Lake.  This is a natural spring lake that is as pure as they come!  Great swimming off of the swim raft, and fabulous fishing with one of the many boats included with this rental.

Other exterior features include a large fire pit with numerous chairs for sitting around the fire in the evenings making smores.  Extensive decking on the house provides a perfect place for entertaining, along with a gas grill.

Additional services that may be added would be a personal chef, daily (or every 2 days) housekeeping/turn down service, transportation/limousine, private spa services at the home, yacht rentals, and/or any additional services requested.  So, take advantage of our full service concierge and let us do all the work for you!

The area hosts many activities; including Cherry Festival and other local festivals, Micheal Moore's Film Festival, arts and craft shows, concerts in the park, casino's, wineries, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes (a must), performances at Interlochen and the Opera House; you're certain to stay busy.  Enjoy fishing charter boats, catamaran sunset cruises, parasailing (for those who are brave), jetski rentals, hot air balloon rides, our local markets, cherry picking (and other fruits depending upon the season), and hiking trails.

Looking to golf? Perfect area for that! Fantastic golf courses surround Traverse City. Fishing? Look no further. Shopping? How about a large mall, outlet mall, and amazing local shops to find that special treasure. The dining is also fabulous, and we have amazing local chefs that prepare meals that you'll want to tell your friends and family about (as you're looking out at the reflection of the water, or dining by sunset).
